A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Tapas, & Friends. Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia’s first Sherry Bar in Sydney, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Helped by the beautiful warm vibe that greets you as you step inside and take a seat among floor-to-ceiling wine bottles, Tapavino was named runner-up in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Best New Bar' Awards within 4-months of opening. 12-months later we were named 'Best Bar with Food'.

My husband and I had a lovely time at the restaurant, food we ordered was quick, timely, ambience is cozy and warm and so are the staff. Shout out to Liza who was just outstanding, from taking our orders, making recommendations, noting our timings and made sure we were served our food so were able to make it to our musical, we felt looked after. Most of all, Liza made sure that my request for a lil bday cake slice surprise for my husband was executed despite our schedules, to my husband’s delight. Very happy with our first visit at TapaVino and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you TapaVino and team. PS. Just one lil input, for the visually challenged, maybe could do something with the font of the menu - maybe size and color as was difficult to read in the semi dark environment.

Good authentic Spanish tapas bar/restaurant. The bars a good spot if alone or you want survey the room! Good food. Great and interesting selection of wines. Good tapas. Fish and veg fishers are fine / enough if you don’t eat meat. Staff always friendly.

The white bean dip was excellent. The cabbage salad was very v salty. The chicken was overcooked and rubbery. Great ambience but the food was not that amazing. Great service.

Fantastic food and the best service. Thursday night dinner for 2. I've been here before and I'll be back. Don't miss the shaved cabbage and manchego cheese salad. We also had the scallops, meatballs and chorizo w/ tomato salsa. Sensational.
