I honestly don't have the vocabulary to properly express how much I love and enjoy Tapas Papa Frita. My wife and I have lived in Arizona for five years now, we've travelled around the state quite a bit, and this is my single favorite place to eat. By a very long margin. Never had a bad plate, never a bad meal, never anything less than a courteous host and server, always the highest marks. Can't wait for our next visit.

Every dish we had was delicious. The patio was nice and warm with the heating lamps. Highly recommend!

I have been looking forward to coming back to this restaurant for a while now and this experience has deterred me from ever coming back again. I never write reviews but this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The ambiance and food were overall okay, however the service and value/portions were terrible. Going out to eat at $150 per person on a slow weekday should include the best service. I can’t even begin to explain how poor of a dining experience it was. Our waiter was not friendly or attentive; almost didn’t say a word the entire time. There is a server “etiquette” which was non existent. The octopus was a gelatinous uncooked disappointment (the dish I was looking forward to eating again). The $90 tasting menu for one had the smallest portions. The signature Spanish dessert, flan, was not edible. It went untouched and the waiter said nothing. Although this restaurant has been here a long time and is very well located, it is no longer what it used to be.

Lived in Sevilla for 13 years. This was just the ambiance I wanted for my birthday. The waiter was wonderful. Only recommendation is larger print on the menu.

I am so happy that we chose this restaurant! We have family in Spain and spend a lot of time there. Our experience here felt very similar to being there. The food, music and Flamenco dancing were all wonderful! Plus, the warm greeting and outstanding service topped it all off! We will certainly be back here when we return to Scottsdale!

We love this restaurant! It never disappoints us. The service is awesome, they have a wide variety of tapas and the entertainment is amazing! The musicians and singers are so good! The flamenco dancer Yumi La Rosa is beautiful and so talented!
