   Amazing, friendly service. The grilled octopus and tenderloin dishes were outstanding. The dessert was delicious.

   Gazpacho soup was a strange consume with a lot of pepper. Just unusual. A lot of flavor but not what I was expecting. Crab salad in artichoke special very good.

   We enjoyed the food and the service was very attentive. However, we had no idea that the kitchen was closed from 2:30 to 5 when we made our 2 PM reservation. We had to rush our order and food came out rather quickly, which is not the ideal way to eat tapas food. It would have been nice if Open Table noted that the kitchen would close 30 minutes after we arrived. We could have made an earlier reservation so we could enjoy our meal at a more leisurely pace. While the food and service were very good, we did not enjoy the rush to order that we faced.

   Barcelona Tapas is always a pecial treat. Highly recommended.

   While the food was excellent, we were extremely disappointed with the service. Took 15 minutes for the waiter to come to our table - then because of the “noise levels”, he missed pieces of our order. He also seemed quite uninterested and distracted. Not going back.

   Amazing as always! 25 years of going here and it never disappoints! Love the food (esp the Gambas, tortilla, pollo Al whisky!) and service was exceptional. Love this place! Gracias!

   The food is always delicious! And I love that they have so many gluten-free options. It is one of my favorite places in Evanston.

   I don’t know why this place was so crowded. We tried quite a few dishes and nothing rose above mediocre.

   This place was an absolute delight! The decor and atmosphere were lovely, the service was amazing, and we ordered was delicious! We ordered 4 plates to share, had a couple of glasses of wine each, and dessert. We left full and happy for just over $100! Don't skip the roasted pear for dessert, it was divine!

    The food was really delicious. We had the croquettes, garlic prawns and grilled octopus for appetizers. Seafood paella for dinner and flan for dessert. Grilled octopus was even better than on our recent trip to Seville, Spain. Absolutely loved the meal. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be back❤️
