After working in the restaurant industry for over 10 years, we decided to go out on our own and have created Tapajax, a tapas bar and restaurant. Our number one goal is to provide an authentic Spanish dining experience with the best quality food possible. With our fantastic front of house team, we aim to create an atmosphere that people cherish and return to time and time again.

Completely different to our first fantastic visit. Edited: Spoke to the manager & understand that there was staffing pressures. Hoping that the next visit will be as amazing as the first 🙏🏽

Really wanted to like this place. However food was just lacking. Really underwhelming. And the scallop ceviche was just not good. Really loud lively place. I think that’s what the focus is on rather than the food. Won’t be rising back unfortunately.

Great night, but the live music got a bit lively and got steaming ended up being 2 hours late for work the next day

Great atmosphere with the live band but they still haven’t cracked the service with wrong dishes being brought to our table and other dishes not arriving

The service was very good and the staff attentive. Our table however was more suitable for 2 people and a little small for 3 people. The menu provided a good choice. However there was a live singer that started at 9pm which was incredibly loud and we struggled to have a conversation due to the volume.

The tapas here was really great, slightly expensive but that’s expected. Had a really fun vibe to the restaurant and live music too! Definitely recommend.

Really good menu and everything we tried was really tasty. Particularly enjoyed the scallop ceviche and the dulce de leche creme brûlée; and for drinks, the tapajax picante cocktail is the one to go for with a really great spicy kick.

Danny was running the show. Took a personal interest in seeing we had a great experience. Beer was great, food was perfect. Especially recommend the meatballs.
