Excellent location for a Saturday night, pre-concert dinner! We were going to see a concert at Marvel stadium and wanted an option that was: 1) relatively close, 2) with a good booking time prior to the first act, and 3) with a nice menu that suited our range in tastes. Tap831 fit the bill for what we wanted for a booking. We were welcomed in and seated at a fun little table in an alcove. The host (maybe a manager?) who seated us was friendly and let us know about the ordering process at the bar. Other patrons were clearly concert-goers, too. The menu matched what was online. Unfortunately, what we were served did not match our expectations or what was listed on the menu. Location was nice, and service was good. All in all it was an ok pre-concert experience. But it might be disappointing as a planned spot to go to without an event.

Overall great experience. Very busy just before Xmas and staff were lovely/ kept their cool under the pressure. Roast pumpkin salad with grilled salmon STUNNING as always. Only disappointment as the fries at $15 a bowl and there were lots of small, thinly cut chips that were over done, so at $15 and a third being inedible, that was not so good. But to sum up, terrific food and a great team.

The food was reasonably priced until I saw how small the meal was. I had the Barramundi, literally a wooden skewer stick with a diced size of capsicum, an onion and god know what, I cant remember? Underwhelming! Also the matchbox side size of potatoes was cold. As for drinks, the $25 mojiito had hardly any alcohol and disd nit taste at all like a mojiito. Quite disappointing overall.

Beautiful venue. We are not local and wanted somewhere nice to take the kids for dinner. The balcony in the restaurant was lovely. Meals and drinks arrived quickly and were delicious.

Great food, reasonable price, but immediately after we asked if it was still happy hour (yes it was) we order two cocktails. It wasn't until I went to pay the bill that I found out the drinks we ordered were not part of the "happy hour" reduced price. We were not told that when we ordered, which spoilt the occasion a little.

Most food was great. Nachos weren't fantastic - melted tasty oily cheese does not make good nachos. Beef burger was overcooked. Chicken burger was dry. Salmon, Chicken Parma and Asian salad were fantastic. Man in charge was quite abrupt, haughty and didn't appear to have a sense of humour - made for a somewhat tense evening. Girl waitress didn't understand English too good - had to ask her the same thing quite a few times. We had birthday cake and had to wait for over 10 minutes for forks. Overall, we won't be hurrying back here!
