    Creative dishes but not tasty. limited vegan options. No ability to have special orders. Big on heavy toppings for grain bowl and chicken dish. Not for me or several in my party.

    Delicious and consistent. Jeff and Steph run a great restaurant and staff is knowledgeable and polite. Best restaurant!!

    Service was excellent! Maura and the team were very helpful and attentive. Menu was fresh and unique. We had several apps including tomato toast, cukes & melon with feta, tuna and venison tartares and ribs - all very tasty. Food and fun drinks were top notch. We had an early dinner and noise level was great for conversing. Very clean establishment and good vibe. Maybe a bit pricey but worth it. Recommend to give it a try.

    We had a great dinner at Taproot. I would have given it 5 stars except for the dessert, olive oil cake, which was tough and grainy. However, the mussels and burger were excellent. Beet salad was delicious and sourdough bread was too.

    Menu was impressively large with so many delicious-sounding options, it was hard to choose. The eggplant two ways and mussels were a particular hit.

    Really good food, very creative. Nice to see such a menu locally! Service was top notch, very friendly and helpful. Restrooms should be updated, as they don't go along with the vibe of the rest of the place. Overall, one of the best restaurants I've been to in CT!

    Everything was so great—the food here is always outstanding and our server was so helpful and patient with all of our questions. Taproot is our favorite restaurant in Norwalk!
