I love this restaurant! It has great food, service and ambience. The location is beautiful. The one not so great experience here is I often have to tell staff there is no toilet paper in the washroom. Hopefully they can improve on this. Otherwise this restaurant is a great place to dine.

The food during the “Dine out Vancouver” program was excellent. The three of us had different items and everything was delicious. The service was so-so as two of the three meals came together then the third was 7-8 minutes later. The other item that significantly reduced the experience was the temperature. It was COLD. There were heaters above but still it was very cold near the windows. It’s probably great in the summer but not right for a winter meal.

We have always enjoyed our experience at tap and barrel restaurants. However the type of service we received at tap and barrel willowbrook by our server Annie left us baffled to say the least, she was not only competent she was blatantly rude obnoxious and wanted to pick a fight with us. We will definitely not be going back to this location based on this horrible service we received even though it makes us sad because this restaurant was one of our favourites. if you want to have your evening ruined go to Willowbrook location and be served by angry Annie.

Would of appreciated a little more hollandaise sauce on Eggs Benny. Everything else was perfect!

The noise level was absolutely ridiculous. The football fans were screaming so loud that we couldn’t hear our own voices. My companion ordered her chicken burger without a bun (just in lettuce) and no tomato, but they brought it in a bun, with tomato! This was not our waitresses fault as she ordered correctly. She mentioned this has happened several times with the kitchen.

I had prepared a cake and candles shaped like the numbers 1 and 6 for my daughter’s 16th birthday, but they threw away the candles and lighter, ruining the final moment of the celebration. I’m really upset and disappointed.
