Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Tap 42 is home to a unique combination of classic and beloved pub foods as well as some new favorites. Favorite dishes include Asian-style coleslaw, oven-baked shrimp mac and cheese, Cajun grilled grouper and the avocado turkey burger. Over the years, Tap 42 has become known not only for its phenomenal food, but also for its impressive drink list, which includes numerous craft beers, handcrafted cocktails and party shots. Tap 42 offers patrons both indoor and outdoor seating. The dining room is decorated with wood slatted walls, bar stools and chalkboard signs, and the large outdoor patio provides customers with an abundance of seating, beautiful views of the area and decorative plants.

    The food was AMAZING!! The noise level was unreal and the outside area was filled with very disrespectful folks (mostly young 30-something’s) that couldn’t get out of anyone’s way even when we said excuse me. Thank goodness we experienced it on the way out and not the way in.

    O what fun! Went to Black Friday Brunch to celebrate a belated birthday and belated Friendsgiving! Was not too busy at noon and we were seated immediately. Chose to sit inside as it was still plenty warm out. Interior is dark but soothing with a retro feel given the decor. Huge bar inside, decorated with twinkling lights which made for a festive pre-Christmas feel. Our server was on point, allowing us enough time to peruse the menu, and offering great suggestions. I was conflicted about what to order as a main and his fave on the menu was the avocado toast so I went with that. Oh the flavors! Think avocado toast meets Mexican corn elote and truffle oil! Everything we ate and drank was lovely! Will definitely recommend!

    Loved the truffle guacamole appetizer! We had a few hamburgers in the group and no complaints. The tuna poke salad was outstanding! Great service - our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The patio was busy but not crowded or loud. Definitely recommend.

    We each are “burger snobs”. We love a juicy flavorful burger with great toppings and cooked as requested “medium rare “. We each ordered the Prohibition burger. It came out perfectly cooked, with delicious hot fries. We would definitely recommend and go back again when we are visiting Fort Lauderdale. Nice ambience and atmosphere. Great service!

    We frequent Tap 42 often and return due to the outstanding experience. The only issue we had last night is the customers at the next table brought 3 dogs. One was very well behaved and 2 were very rambunctious, to say the least. They even chewed and disconnected the holiday lights on the tree. The owners did nothing. The waitress had to point it out to them. Then when leaving, they expected us to step over the dogs. We love dogs but people should be advised when bringing them, your business is not a dog park. Just want to point out if someone tripped over one of those dogs, your company holds the liability.

    Always enjoy here Food is good But, the music is so loud We were sitted outside, music loud and people’s voices carried, had to talk loudly to be heard

    Fantastic Experience! The ribs were some of the best I've had. Incredibly meaty, perfect amount of sauce, delicious flavor! The blackened mahi was fresh and delicious. Guac with city corn queso also a hit. I tried several tap beers - beer flight. Amazing variety, complexity and flavor experiences! Wow! Highly recommend this place! I'm going back on Monday for the burger night! I hear it's the bomb!
