Au cœur du restaurant Tao préside une statue de Bouddha de près de 5 mètres, qui flotte au-dessus d'un bassin miroitant rempli de carpes japonaises. Une destination de prédilection pour les célébrités et les athlètes, ce restaurant panasiatique se spécialise dans la cuisine authentique de Hong Kong, de la Chine, du Japon et de la Thaïlande. La salle à manger du Tao s'étend sur trois niveaux, dont le très prisé « Skybox » qui offre une vue sur cette ancienne et incomparable salle de cinéma de New York qui est devenue le restaurant. En plus de ses 300 sièges, le Tao dispose d'un bar à sushis, de même que d'un salon et de deux bars pour profiter de la nourriture et d'un spectacle. La fourchette de prix est de 8 USD à 18 USD pour les entrées et de 16 USD à 39 USD pour les plats principaux. Un menu du dîner au prix fixe de 27,50 USD est proposé à l'année.

    Overall, the service is always good. The food is good but still overpriced for the quantity. The 12% over market is horrible, but I was willing to pay the price. The drinks are very weak, often watered down. Still I love the food.

    Feel like the kitchen mailed it on a Sunday. Most dishes came out warm. It was almost as if they were waiting in the kitchen for too long prior to being brought to the table. Second time over the past six months that the food was just "ok". And the bill was way too high for just "ok" food. Only stand out was that we had a delightful server.

    Always nice for a celebration. Loved the tuna tartare, rib eye, and green rice. Everyone enjoyed!

    Food was extremely salty. Sea bass was overcooked and veggies in fried rice were not cooked enough.

    Tao never disappoints- service is always excellent & attentive - food is always delicious and you cannot miss the amazing gigantic fortune cookie filled with chocolate (dark & White) mousse.

    The place is such a fun vibe from the music hitting you at the door, to the seating area with a bar included, to the decor. Everything I ordered I throughly enjoyed and my server also gave great suggestions, and all though they were busy I never felt forgotten. I will be back!

    It was really disappointing my experience in general. I was told when I checked in for my reservation that we had until 9pm and mind you reservation was for 730 to be out bc of private event. Wasn’t happy but I didn’t mind until the waiter was like you need to hurry up an order your food bc you need to be out by 9pm Not even happy birthday Leslie and she was rude as hell. So I ordered the check and left

    Hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour and had too much thickener. The sea bass appetizer was delicious as was the sea bass main. The lobster rice was large but below average flavor profile.
