Au cœur du restaurant Tao préside une statue de Bouddha de près de 5 mètres, qui flotte au-dessus d'un bassin miroitant rempli de carpes japonaises. Une destination de prédilection pour les célébrités et les athlètes, ce restaurant panasiatique se spécialise dans la cuisine authentique de Hong Kong, de la Chine, du Japon et de la Thaïlande. La salle à manger du Tao s'étend sur trois niveaux, dont le très prisé « Skybox » qui offre une vue sur cette ancienne et incomparable salle de cinéma de New York qui est devenue le restaurant.     Cool place, good food, great service. Had an 8:30pm reservation and wasn’t seated until 9:20pm.

    Very crowded - almost chaotic in reception and bar area. Took 35 minutes to get seats. Can be improved a lot. But once seated, we were impressed by high efficiency of order taking and quick delivery, courteous staff checking often about food etc. Recommend you to dine here.

    Booked table and arrived in the 15 min grace period after booking time. Table already given away - restaurant was chaos - had to wait nearly an hour for a table. Were told different reasons but reception. Would never go back

    Everything absolutely fabulous! The coat check as you walked in, ambiance of the restaurant as you walked in, the specialty cocktails, amazing wait staff and outstanding food!!!

    We arrived promptly for our 5:15 reservation. The place is beyond packed, there are no seats in the lounge, hostesses are rude and tell you to step aside till they have a table. 45 min later they finally find us a table & we sat. The waiter shows up after 7 min of us sitting and brings us a round of water and wants to take our order immediately. We ask him to bring our cocktails first till we have a chance to review the menu. I’m a rude manner he says that’s ok but we only have 90 min. At this table to be out. We were shocked. A place that charge $92 for a Chinese beef & broccoli cannot be so low class and rude and obnoxious. This place is nothing more than a super glorified PF change at 10 times the cost. The food was mediocre and nothing had any taste to it. The bill was over $300 for 4 and we had nothing extravagant or fancy. They even charge you $40 to book the reservation. Bottom line don’t waste your time & precious money on this joint. Just because Kim kardashian said this is one of her favorite restaurants doesn’t make this good at all. EXTREMELY Dissatisfied

    Great food, prixe fix menu has a perfect selection. Very creative palette. An experience to the food enthusiasts. Great price, ambiance, service. Overall great experience with friends and family.

    I love the ambience of TAO, however because of the name and decor, I expected a different type of music selection. It was my daughter's 18th birthday and I felt we should have gotten a table to ourselves or sat in a more quaint section, if there is such a thing. We were seated at a table with a lounge type seat with 3 other people. I did not like that. I had the BBQ chicken with chicken fried rice, and it was just ok. I expected more seasoning and a little fiery kick. I guess I should have asked it to be extra spicy. My daughter had the pad thai, which was delicious. The fortune cookie made for my daughter was sooooo good and very pretty. My daughter was so delighted! The prices are reasonable and the portions decent.

    Went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I’ve been before and have always had a great experience. Our server was amazing! Will always go back!

    Usually every year we have annual dinner here for Christmas/ my birthday. This year the service has deteriorated so much that I will not be returning ever. It’s been a tradition for over 10 years but it’s over now. I have never had such horrible service, from the server leaving without doing a hand off to the bust boys not being able to find a server to assist us. A whole persons meal was missing, then we couldn’t even find anyone to bring utensils. People were so rude and no one was able to help with anything. I asked for the bill not to be brought to the table so that I can pay privately and they totally disregarded my request. We put birthday on the reservation but had to beg them to bring a fortune cookie like 5 times!! Our second server was very patient after I explained all the issues with her. Tao is not what it used to be! Overpriced and over rated. They need to do some major changes!
