Au cœur du restaurant Tao préside une statue de Bouddha de près de 5 mètres, qui flotte au-dessus d'un bassin miroitant rempli de carpes japonaises. Une destination de prédilection pour les célébrités et les athlètes, ce restaurant panasiatique se spécialise dans la cuisine authentique de Hong Kong, de la Chine, du Japon et de la Thaïlande. La salle à manger du Tao s'étend sur trois niveaux, dont le très prisé « Skybox » qui offre une vue sur cette ancienne et incomparable salle de cinéma de New York qui est devenue le restaurant. En plus de ses 300 sièges, le Tao dispose d'un bar à sushis, de même que d'un salon et de deux bars pour profiter de la nourriture et d'un spectacle.     Continuo a non capire perché anche un gruppo come Tao accetti prenotazioni alle 9.15pm per poi obbligare l’ospite ad ordinare tutto velocemente perché la cucina “fra poco chiude” . L’esperjenza della serata è una conseguenza . Tutto il cibo assieme e quindi poca voglia di godersi anche il locale che rimane sempre carino .

    Fantastic place— food was incredible, ambience was wonderful. Really great for a medium to upscale experience.

    I had the pleasure of dining at Tao Restaurant last night, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The service was exceptional, and the food was truly divine.     The restaurant was not full, there were many open tables and they sat the 2 of us at a tiny table, squeezed in between others couples. It made our dinner and those around us uncomfortable as we were so close to one another. When I asked if we could sit where we could have more space- we were told no and that we could wait 1,5 to 2 hours for another table. Mind you there were several empty tables. On top of that I ordered sushi as an app, and they never brought it. Maybe because I asked for a different table. Out of all the great places to eat in nyc, don’t waste your valuable time at this one.

    We had my daughter’s 18’s Birthday celebration here. She loves Thai so the choice was easy given the reviews about the ambience and quality of food. The service was very prompt and friendly. Ambience nice but too dark to even see your dishes. We had the 3 course menu and also soup and appetizers. The pepper corn steak was soaked in glace and more vegetables then anything else. The sweet & spicy thai shrimps too battered to taste the shrimps. Sushi platter was ok and the chicken pretty good. Overall the price/value is not as expected. Spend a fortune and didn’t have a wow experience.

    Too cold in this restaurant wasn't even hot outside. The tables were too close where you are back to back. The waiter was rushing us with our order and stated that we are only have a set time in our seats. The food was great but the ambience is not the same anymore just want their money
