Au cœur du restaurant Tao préside une statue de Bouddha de près de 5 mètres, qui flotte au-dessus d'un bassin miroitant rempli de carpes japonaises. Une destination de prédilection pour les célébrités et les athlètes, ce restaurant panasiatique se spécialise dans la cuisine authentique de Hong Kong, de la Chine, du Japon et de la Thaïlande. La salle à manger du Tao s'étend sur trois niveaux, dont le très prisé « Skybox » qui offre une vue sur cette ancienne et incomparable salle de cinéma de New York qui est devenue le restaurant. En plus de ses 300 sièges, le Tao dispose d'un bar à sushis, de même que d'un salon et de deux bars pour profiter de la nourriture et d'un spectacle. La fourchette de prix est de 8 USD à 18 USD pour les entrées et de 16 USD à 39 USD pour les plats principaux. Un menu du dîner au prix fixe de 27,50 USD est proposé à l'année.

    Good quality food, price point a bit high overall, but in line for the area. Service was solid, attentive and responsive.

    We probably should have gone to the other Tao downtown. More romantic and the Buddha moves. Prices have increased too.

    Food was good and not overpriced but next time I’ll ask for a better table. Being next to the walkway and next to the server station was uncomfortable and people kept bumping my chair. I wasn’t really interested in hearing the servers conversations amongst themselves over my own.

    Food was below average, you cant be sure about the freshness, we felt sick afterwards. Servise was good. No need to tell about ambiance its good. But again the food and quality was awful

    Took just over an hour to get our food, and the restaurant had a few open tables so they were not full. Very delicious though! Would be back!

    Servers hanging out at the bar complaining and cursing the entire meal. When 50 cent, 21 questions came on servers told DJ to turn it up volume then was so loud we could not hear eachother the rest of the meal. Ordered kung pao chicken, it came with a sweet sauce not spicy at all, bell peppers and pineapple. I told the waitress, “ this is not kung pao this is sweet and sour chicken.” She told me I was wrong and that is how kung pao comes. I have had kung pao over 100 times at dozens of restaurants all over the world, and I have never had it in a sweet sauce with bell peppers and pineapple. She asked how it tasted, I said it’s fine but it’s not what I expected or wanted, then she walked away. The rest of the food was good, steak with black truffle was amazing, I would have rather changed my order to 2 of those! It was my son’s birthday, we wanted to eat and drink and talk, no one ever came back to get us another round of drinks.The bus boy cleared our table then wiped it down with us still sitting in it leaving the table soaking wet. Then the server came and wiped it again. Over all if anyone asked I would tell them I would not recommend.

    I was asked for ID for my drink and showed a picture of it , as I have recently lost my wallet. I had a picture of my ID and a temporary id from dmv and the waiter refused to serve me a drink . It was my 36th birthday as well. But thanks
