TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge offers a distinctive culinary experience in the most dramatic setting Mohegan Sun has to offer. Guests can choose from a selection of Asian-inspired specialties, focusing on Chinese, Japanese and Thai techniques and ingredients; including signature dishes like the Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster Wontons, Peking Duck, Crispy Snapper in “Sand,” and Tuna Sashimi Pringle. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s beverage program pairs perfectly with approachable craft cocktails and extensive sake offerings. The new restaurant at Mohegan Sun is located off the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby and features several notable elements that Guests have come to expect from the iconic brand, including a 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring the main dining room.

    TAO is beautiful, however it was solid we were unable to talk, the service provided by our waitstaff felt resentful and often absent. The. Food was ok but not up to the prices. We did not enjoy our experiance

    The food was great, delicious and beautifuly presented. The service was… very ordinary… our server was focused on the task, very efficient but cold.

    Delicious food with nice presentation! Waitress was very curt with us throughout. Not as welcoming as the ambiance unfortunately.

    Food here was excellent. Served fresh and hot. You don't feel rushed. Nice vibe with DJ playing music. The drinks are really good. Service is wonderful. The staff is helpful with menu selections.

    The food was amazing. The time we waited between our sushi appetizers and our entree was not amazing. We waited almost 40 minutes between courses. The restaurant is very loud, so if you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere and a good conversation, this isn't the place. We had to yell at a small table just to hear each other.

    The service and food were extraordinary. Well beyond our expectations. We were Seated as soon as we arrived and Greeted immediately by our server. Drinks came quickly , followed by dinner. One complaint. The music was blaring from a DJ in the dining room, making it hard to have a conversation at our table.
