This semi-private area is directly next to our 20-foot tall Quan Yin statue which stands atop a koi pond where 3D projection mapping technology creates animations to bring this signature statue to life. This table requires a 50% deposit & a $1,000 food and beverage minimum. The food and beverage minimum is required at the time of booking + tax and gratuity – (suggested gratuity amount: 20%). All items ordered at your table will go towards your minimum spend. Prix Fixe menus are available upon requests 48 hours prior to your reservation date. Order it all just like we did for the 2 nights we ended up going. We explore the menu, drinks and the place was beyond beautiful and perfect to take your partner! Customer service was excellent!

Sat for 15-20 minutes with no interaction from our server, not even a glass of water. Hostess staff didn’t seem to care when we told them and got up to leave

Waiters friendly good quick service. Drinks delicious. Slow night though vibe was a bit too chill like family night with kids rather than “Tao” need to liven up the crowd. Beauty Essex closed next to it so lacking the foot traffic for sure in that area.

First time dining at Tao after years of wanting to go. Was a little disappointed. Me and my friend ordered the prefixed menu to make it easy for us. The crispy rice had no flavor, the fried rice felt like it was sitting out for a while and was just waiting to be plated and same for the sushi platter… nice presentation but no flavor what so ever. The drinks are overpriced and they dont fill the drink up… all my drinks were not topped off and what made is sad was that every drink contained a handful of ingredients. We didnt see out server the last 40min, I only noticed bc I had to leave to work. We had to pull one of the food runners to let the server know we were ready for dessert (the server also forgot that we did the prefixed menu and asked us if we were interested in dessert which confused us). No one ever asked us how out meal was of our experience, and after our server dropped the check, she ran off after we called for her to stay. Luckily someone (another server) was nice enough to assist us with closing out. It also looked like the server needed training on how to open a wine bottle… this was just an observation from trying to eye her down. The host on the other hand were polite and friendly.

Had a girls day in LA with my bestie Thursday and had reservations for 5pm. The restaurant Is super cute loved the ambiance that the dark lighting and decor gives also loved the layout of the restaurant as well. Thursday and 5pm we were the first ones seated so I told my friend I rented the place out just for her so it felt private and even when more guest did start to come in for their reservation it still felt like an intimate setting due to the amazing layout they have. The food was super amazing and the staff was super friendly and attentive. The shrimp tempera sushi was to DIE for and the lobster fried rice honestly you can’t go wrong with anything you order both our dishes were amazing
