TAO Chicago offers guests a sensual trip through the cuisines of Asia. The design-driven restaurant and adjoining nightclub is inspired by the original TAO locations in New York City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

TAO Chicago features multiple levels, creating dynamic spaces within the historic building’s shell, while adding TAO’s Asian-influenced DNA to the restaurant, lounge and nightclub including murals by artist Hush and TAO’s signature 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring one end of the dining room.

TAO Chicago’s restaurant menu, created by TAO Group Partner and Chef Ralph Scamardella , is complete with Pan-Asian offerings from the sea, sky and land including signature dishes like Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Crispy Rice Tuna and a Wagyu Rib-Eye.

    Our server was so kind and friendly! I believe her name is Lauryn. The staff was great! The food was good! Definitely recommend!!

    TAO is one of our favorites and we highly recommend It . The food was great, but the service wasn't on par this trip. We waited forever for waters, and couldn't find our server when we needed something. She must have been very busy as that's not typical for TAO.

    I made a reservation for 8:30 and wasn’t seated until 9:30. I didn’t understand why they even have reservations… But it was a beautiful restaurant! The ambiance was great! The food was great and so was our server. Only complaint was the long wait! I will be back but I will prepare to wait….

    Fantastic food and great service once we were actually seated, but… we weren’t seated till about an hour and fifteen minutes after our reservation time, even though we arrived a few minutes before our reservation. The lounge and bar area upstairs were very crowded and so it was hard to get drinks and be comfortable while waiting. It was so noisy and crowded but in fairness it was a Saturday night. Can’t say enough about the food and service once we finally got seated.

    Great food and service but ridiculous having to wait more than an hour despite having a reservation. Definitely worth going if you've never been to one of the TAO locations, but be prepared for a lengthy wait on the weekend. Beautiful restaurant. We loved all our dishes -- especially the desserts! Server was wonderful, attentive. Vibrant scene, music with live DJ was fantastic!

    We went for my husband’s birthday. The energy in the room was likely and fun with many large groups around us. Our server was friendly and very helpful with menu suggestions. We loved the Peking Duck! Overall a wonderful dinner!
