TAO Chicago offers guests a sensual trip through the cuisines of Asia. The design-driven restaurant and adjoining nightclub is inspired by the original TAO locations in New York City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

TAO Chicago features multiple levels, creating dynamic spaces within the historic building’s shell, while adding TAO’s Asian-influenced DNA to the restaurant, lounge and nightclub including murals by artist Hush and TAO’s signature 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring one end of the dining room.

TAO Chicago’s restaurant menu, created by TAO Group Partner and Chef Ralph Scamardella , is complete with Pan-Asian offerings from the sea, sky and land including signature dishes like Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Crispy Rice Tuna and a Wagyu Rib-Eye.

    Waiter didn’t check on us often was rude. The food was underwhelming and very salty. His attitude was as if he knew everything we didn’t know anything. Was not very helpful when asking questions won’t be back.

    I have never been so cold in my life we had a 7 pm reservation and I had a fleece on and was literally freezing. The waiter was fabulous and food was delicious and hot! Hard to enjoy when it is 55 degrees inside

    Staff was lovely and took care of us during our celebratory dinner! We were a party of 6 and were sat in a wonderful private area!

    The hostess were so nice as we arrived. Even offered to take our picture and was so patient, not rushing us to our table. Our server David was fantastic. He was patient, his menu knowledge was very helpful, and even when I did not prefer my drink he agreed to remove it from the bill with a smile. We had a great evening at TAO.

    ALEC Our server was AWESOME!!! I had my birthday dinner and girls night out last night and nothing went according to plan on our end and our group was complete chaos with everyone arriving at different times and some people even being two hours late! TAO was amazing and extremely accommodating! Customer Service is off the hook and our server took care of everything seamlessly! Food was absolutely mouthwatering, and I had the best birthday!

    I arrive with reservation for 10:45p.m. for a party of two. We arrived on time and were asked if we wanted to go to the bar to get a drink. This is completely fine as I have done this many times before. By the time my party sat at the bar it was time to head to our table. That’s how short the wait for our reservation was. We were seated then greeted by a server how was pretty friendly! She took our order for our drinks, then we were greeted with someone else. It was extremely frustrating because not one did the new girl announce she was our new server or did anyone tell us of the change. She seemed extremely ANNOYED and walked to our table and asked what we would like to order. At that point we wished we stayed at the bar! At least they seem to understand customer service. The service was very disappointing!

    Beautiful interior design. Terrible place for a romantic dinner. Everybody was cramped together at the tables and music and noise was so loud I could not hear a word my gf was saying. Just terrible.
