Le Tanuki est un restaurant de fusion asiatique moderne situé à Miami Beach. Son ambiance moderne, intime et romantique, en fait le choix idéal pour vos repas en tête à tête. Outre une large sélection de vins et autres boissons, le Tanuki propose également un éventail de cocktails à déguster avec votre repas. Le menu du Tanuki est très vaste. Il comprend du thon au riz croustillant, du bœuf et de la poitrine de le porc gyoza. Normally, we love to Tanuki . However, this time we were a bit disappointed because – although the food was great as usual – the service was not up to par. For example, when we walked in, we told the person who greeted us that we had an open table reservation, and I asked him to take care of that and he said he would. Next, our server forgot the extra sauce we ordered. Next, as we were leaving, I asked our server if the opentable reservation had been logged in, and she said she thought it had and so I asked her to check. When she checked, it had not. Then we asked the bartender – Lucas – who is very nice and tried his best to be helpful but did not know that the restaurant took open table reservations and told us that reservations are only taken by telephone. I explained that we have made opentable reservations at this restaurant many times and he seemed surprised. What was most distressing is that the manager, Christo, saw my several interactions, and I kept looking at him across the room for support and he looked back several times, but he never once came over to see if he could be helpful. Let's say this was a blip, but clearly management needs to be more involved in training their staff in something as basic as logging in and OpenTable reservation.

An amazing place! The food is to die for, the staff are so friendly and competent and the prices are very reasonable. The most enjoyable experience I’ve had in any restaurant in south beach and the best Japanese food I’ve ever tasted.

This was one of the tastiest meals we had on a recent visit to south beach. The sushi is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Service is quick and all the staff were very friendly.

I am really picky when it comes to sushi. But I have to say this is one of the best sushi places I've ever been to. The prices are fairly okay. The service is also AMAZING here. This is truly a hidden gem! I am DEFINITELY coming back!

I definitely recommend this restaurant. The service is super fast, the rolls are excellent, it is totally worth it! Perfect for couples, friends, and families.

I love this Japanese restaurant, sushi is the best! Been here several times already, definitely worth recommending. The environment is also nice, service is good enough.
