The place was beautiful. The hostess and our server were uninviting. I felt like we were inconveniencing them. We arrived at 8pm and their kitchen closed at 9:45. We ended up leaving at 9:15 pm. Every time I spoke to the server to order, she didn’t seem to want to talk to us, I couldn’t shake the feeling of inconveniencing her. The food quality was equivalent to the prices which were not that high. It tasted good, this is not a complaint. Other servers seemed more friendly, it’s possible that we just got unlucky. Anything labeled spicy was not spicy at all. We had sushi with truffle and yellowtail in it, we couldn’t taste the truffle at all.

I’ve been dying to try this place and it was worth the wait! The food was fantastic and the views and vibes of the place were amazing! Will be back soon!

Not very welcoming, and there was little attention to service. We didn’t receive our drinks until after our dinner arrived, which threw off the flow of the evening. Definitely a disappointing experience, especially when they receive an automatic tip but don’t get good service in return.

Since it's our third time in Tanuki restaurant I think it is time for feedback. The restaurant has a welcoming ambiance and the music is inviting. This time Jimmy was out garçon, he was respectful and amicable as well, and suggested us good appetizers to start our dinner. The food was not delayed even though the restaurant got crowded within 20 minutes (we arrived at 7:30 pm) I will suggest that you book a table online before going. I had Red Snapper Ceviche, for my taste it lacked more lime taste but that was not an issue, Jimmy brought me plenty of limes! The Fried Springs rolls appetizer with the red sauce was delicious! And one favorite of our family that we adore is the Chocolate brownie lava cake with vanilla ice cream, I don't know how they make it but it tastes different from other places we had tried. From service to food, and the unique style and Asian ambience and music, you all rock!! And last night we had the pleasure of being welcomed by the manager or owner (I'm not sure) some may have a superficial idea that she is a tough boss but, hey, I think she is doing an excellent job leading her team to succeed. Congratulations to her as well!

What an incredible find! We were delighted to dine here last night. It was pure magic on the Miami riverfront. Food was excellent and beautifully prepared. We were able to eat on the patio. Bar service a little slow, otherwise a perfect experience

Ambiance was great, food was good, sat at the bar on a Sunday night. Only big problem I had was at the bar, the service was terrible. Close to an empty bar and not once was i asked when i had my food if i needed anything. I ended up eating my entire meal with my wife without silverware or sauce.
