We are a brewhouse & grill tucked away in north Brisbane creating seasonal and experimental brews, offering a selection of QLD made spirits and serving up a bold cup of coffee alongside our tasty grill menu.

Our drinks menu is built of products from Queensland based artisans from Brisbane locals - Cavaliers Coffee Roasters, Tour De Tea & Spencers Vodka, Witches Falls Winery in Tamborine Mountains and Wildflower Gin & Capricorn Rum on the Gold Coast with many more to be added to the list.

We feature up to 6 brews at a time, consisting of our two core beers and other specialty brews which change seasonally and can also include some interesting flavour combinations. We also love to feature other local breweries from Brisbane.

Our food menu is the perfect accompaniment to a few schooners or a glass of wine and features classic comfort food options freshly made over hot coals.

Great atmosphere, loved the live music! Super friendly and smiling staff. Food was sensational and great variety on the menu as well as GF options. Definitely be back!

Dave and staff at Tannins are magnificent and make us feel welcomed back each time we visit! The food and venue are great for couples, families and friends catching up with the bonus Sunday live music and weekly specials. Tannins is our family’s favourite place for tasty food, Dave’s latest and always different brews, and to relax in the comfy atmosphere! Highly recommend to anyone living in or visiting Moreton Bay Region.

We had a great evening at Tannins Brewery. The staff were lovely, the service was great and the food was magnificent. We will be back!

Food was really good. However had a call about our booking to make us aware about how busy they were also we booked for 08:00 and was told the kitchen closes then and offered no solution and constantly reminded about the big booking which made us feel as if we shouldn’t come which was very disappointing.

It was ok, disappointing I ordered vegetarian kebbabs, but got a bowl of under cooked flavourless potatoes, the other veg ok, it was expensive $15, no dessert on offer, overall ok, small portions, but probably come back.
