Tandoor Chop House is the meeting of a North Indian communal eatery and a classic British chop house. It brings together the characteristics of these two traditional restaurants. the tandoor ovens, Indian spices and marinades, select prime cuts of meat, and buzzing atmosphere. The result is a place diners can come to socialise over drinks and share plates of hearty, comforting food.

*Please note that our chicken is halal.
**Our Sunday Mighty Thali menu is only available on Sunday's from 12pm-4pm (last sitting at 3.30pm), regular menu Sunday 4pm-10pm.
***Seating times may vary, but will never be more than a 2 hour sitting unless previously arranged.

First visit. Overall impression was a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our server was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was plentiful and tasty although the starters we had felt a little more quantity over quality. For the price it’s incredibly good and the location is very central. For me the black dhal and our waiters friendlyness topped the night!

Excellent from the get go. We started with the chickpea chaat, tasty and spicy, perfect for two to share (this was the only one that although great wasn’t as advertised - almost no chickpeas and all puffed rice and we didn’t inquire why). Onto the main course with the popular bone marrow naan, moist enough but not overloaded with onions cooked in bone marrow, accompanied by the lamb chops (4) and chicken. Both absolutely perfect, lamb was moist and not over cooked at all, nicely spiced but not overwhelming. Definitely worth a repeat visit. Excellent and cheerful service

It was great! Fantastic food as always! We enjoyed trying some of the new dishes such as cauliflower croquettes.
