Mediocre food and service. Plus there was a mouse running around in the outdoor seating area. Great birthday surprise for me.

Everything from the decor to the service and food was great. If you have ever traveled to Tulum and loved it, you will love this place. Very authentic.

We were big fans of Chef Sandoval’s Pampano, previously located in this same space. His new restaurant Tan is an attractive space. We did not eat on the terrace as planned due to the New York heat wave. The restaurant unfortunately was experiencing issues with both their sound system and their air conditioning during our recent Sunday brunch. We also appeared to have a new and inexperienced waitperson. The food however was excellent and the $49. bottomless food brunch is a terrific bargain. Obviously other people have the sanme opinion as the restaurant was completely full during our visit.

You’re greeted with a “Welcome to Tulum” at the bar with the aesthetics and ambience to match. As we’re brought to our table the scents and imagery almost makes you forget this is in Manhattan. The atmosphere built up high expectations for the food & service, but Tán did not disappoint, it was an experience for all senses.

Great food. Unfortunately their air conditioning was out and there were a lot of angry diners that spoilt the overall experience.

Ambiance and service were excellent. The AC wasn’t working and it was extremely hot, but Eva sat us outside and it was perfect. We were celebrating our anniversary and at the end they bought to us a ‘Happy Anniversary’ desert which was very cute. With the exception of the Campeche Ceviche, food was just…pretty. I was very disappointed, specially because I was looking forward to visiting Tán for a while now.

The service was great , everyone’s friendly. It has a great vibe and the food was good . I give my whole experience there a 9/10. I would definitely recommend for a girls night out. The only bad thing I would say it’s that it’s hot in there which I get because they have outdoor seating and the doors are remained opened but I would like them to close those doors and put on the air conditioner on for those who are seated inside.

I came here with my husband and daughter to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint. The drinks were outstanding as was the food. The only downside was that it was hot in there; the air conditioning was off maybe? Definitely worth another visit, but I will likely wait till it cools down. :)
