   Wow, what a great experience we had. Our server Louise was helpful and friendly. Our coin style margaritas were excellent, as was the mushroom queso. We did not make it up to the rooftop deck on this visit, but we will certainly do so when we return. The manager was very friendly when seating us and the decor and vibe are great. The noise level was just right, and not too loud. We will be back!

   Remodeled restaurant is beautiful except for the lack of shades on side windows. Luckily we were able to move to table without direct sun. Miss the bacon guacamole and plantains. Brussels were awesome. Honey lavender margarita was great too.

   Great return to one our favorite restaurants. The margaritas are even better than we remembered. Food presentation is A+! As most have noticed, the afternoon glare requires shades inside! Otherwise the return after the remodel has been amazing!

   The food was amazing; hands down some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. However, the ambience and the service weren’t great. Our table was in the sun, with no option for covering the window. We were told they were self tinting, but they never tinted and I had to wear my sunglasses the entire meal, which is weird inside. Our server was inattentive at times, and when we asked for more chips for the guacamole - there were very few to start with - they brought them to us but neglected to tell us there would be a SIX DOLLAR charge for them. We never would have done it if we knew that. Kinda ridiculous. Overall this was a disappointing meal, but we will give it another shot another day. Because again, the food itself was amazing.

   We dined at Tamayo on Sunday, 4:00 pm reservation. The decor is awesome and the renovations are really nice. We were initially sat at a table by the windows and it was extremely hot. They quickly moved us without issue, and informed us they were getting their shades back soon. They were very apologetic. Once we were at our new table, we sat for almost 10 minutes before we were greeted by our server to give us food menus (we were in a section with other tables so it’s not as if we weren’t seen). We ordered drinks at this time as we had only been given a drink menu. The server came back a few minutes later, still no drinks, and we order a couple of appetizers. The drinks took at least 10 minutes to arrive. One of our appetizers was the salsa and chips, which took over 30 minutes to arrive. We were there for over 45 minutes before we got any food, which is completely ridiculous. We weren’t able to get our server’s attention to ask about the appetizers. We had ordered food while waiting for the appetizers, so our food arrived about 10 minutes after our appetizers. The delay in receiving a simple dish of chips and 4 salsas really put a damper on the meal. There was no reason for such a delay when a table that was sat about 30 minutes after us got their order of salsa and chips at the same time as us. Our server was nice, but there was no reason given for the extended delay. The food was very good overall though the tacos are pricey for 3 small tacos that don’t come with any sides. The bone marrow and tuna dish was our least favorite, the tuna was overcooked. We may give them another try in the future but probably be awhile.

   great attentive service. helpful with requirements of lactose intolerance. All three dishes were unique twists on tradition dishes and we enjoyed our cocktails. liked the new server attire, it was fun to see. the waitress had a big smile attach request, made excellent recommendations and wee even got a fashion show with her bright blue glasses. Valet parking was available the entrance to Larimer street. we'll be back, the happy hour menu looked great.

   One of the worst dining experiences in a long time. Went for dinner with a friend. Food was mediocre… special tuna ceviche was very fishy tasting, worried about getting sick but ok so far. The bone marrow had very little classic taste, overwhelmed it with sauces and pickled vegetables. The shrimp and crab enchiladas put cold in the middle. New plate came out with stuffing about 1/2 the size as first. Service was incredibly poor. Wanted to like it, but will never go back.

    This is the second time coming to Tamayo in one week. Service was great, as was the food. I might recommend using plates instead of logs for the meal!
