Helmed by Chef Tammy Huynh, Tamarine's menu features an exquisite selection of entrees, soups, salads and signature dishes cooked with the freshest Asian ingredients.

Get your taste buds racing with some shrimp spring rolls before diving into a delicious entrée of crisp-fried whole Mediterranean striped bass served with a sambal shellfish sauce. Complement it with a specialty cocktail, made using traditional ingredients. Visit the bar between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and enjoy great Happy Hour discounts. The food is great, but seats are too closed. Wish they can consider to change so guests won’t interfere each other

We went there for the first time and the waiter recommended shaking beef and clay pot cod. Both dishes were very tasty. They serve food pretty fast too, which is appreciated for lunch time.

We have been several times to Tamarine and once again we have enjoyed delicious food with great service in a pleasant atmosphere.

Lovely setting and great service. One of our party is a vegetarian and we really appreciated the numerous menu options available for him. Tamarine is a bit pricey, same as everything in Palo Alto. What are you gonna do?

The service staff at Tamarine was absolutely lovely, attentive, gracious and kind. The food was outstanding as always. The only negative thing I would say - and this may be controversial (and as a parent I’ve been on both sides of this situation) — is that we were seated adjacent (I.e., really close) to a table with a toddler and an infant. Usually no problem, but there was crying and mild tantrumming during our dinner that made it hard to have a conversation at various points. I’m not blaming the restaurant or the parents - kids should be welcome everywhere - but the distraction of small children while we were enjoying an expensive meal detracted from our dining experience. We wondered afterwards if there would be a way to accommodate families with young children in a separate area of room. As I said, my comment risks igniting a flurry of pushback and indignation by young families, but on the other side of the argument are the adults who are spending upwards of $350 to enjoy a quiet meal. My husband’s reaction was stronger than mine, by the way, as he questioned why anyone would bring a baby and a toddler to that type of restaurant when family-centric alternatives abound. With that said, Tamarine is a winner for quality food and service.

It was great but I think they were quite rush to clean and take the plate that I still saw a piece of food I wanted but forgot to look when they took it. But overall the flavor has been the same for the past 10 years. So yummy.

This was an absolutely perfect dining experience. Outstanding and attentive service, amazing food, and a relaxed ambiance. I’d go there again tonight if I were still in town!
