The food was enjoyable, meeting our expectations with a pleasant mix of spices and an overall good taste. The temperature was just right — warm but not too hot. We ordered three different appetizers: Churi Chaat, Paneer Tikka, and Avocado Salad. While the Churi Chaat and Paneer Tikka were delicious, the Avocado Salad didn't complement the other dishes well. The dessert portion was small, which was a bit disappointing. The ambiance was ordinary and didn't quite meet our expectations. Additionally, the minimum spend of £55 per person, which wasn’t mentioned on menu available at website, came as a surprise. Later, it was found that it's mentioned at the bottom right corner while making the reservation, requiring one to expand the details to see it, otherwise one may miss it, like us. Overall good experience.

The Grills and starters are out of this world, absolutely fantastic. Been here 3 times this year already. However I think they need to revamp their curries and mains. The taste is just okay and nothing out of the ordinary.

We saw a mice running in the dinning area and stuff didn’t take any action about it.

It was wonderful spending my birthday at Tamarind! My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming here, and this is our favourite restaurant, so there was nowhere else I'd rather have gone to celebrate my birthday. The food as always was incredible, and the service was lovely and warm as well. We can't wait to go back

Fabulous menu of delicious and innovative dishes. Staff attentive and helpful with time to chat. All in all, a perfect evening meal.

Food and service were just ok. Server sells a lot more food than we could eat. They served me wine in a used, unwashed, glass with someone else’s lip marks on it - super gross!!! Makes you wonder about their cleanliness. Won’t be back.

We visited Tamarind having wanted to go there for a long time. The food was fantastic, however the service really let the place down. We felt like we were an inconvenience. As people who really love a fine dining experience, we were disappointed. Also, having the roof open at the beginning of autumn isn’t pleasant for the diner. We had leaves dropping into our table and all over the seating for the majority of our meal. That, and the indifferent attitude we received aren’t what we expect when we are paying that amount of money. The meal is as much about the way you are made to feel, as the food is.
