Food and service were just ok. Server sells a lot more food than we could eat. They served me wine in a used, unwashed, glass with someone else’s lip marks on it - super gross!!! Makes you wonder about their cleanliness. Won’t be back.

We visited Tamarind having wanted to go there for a long time. The food was fantastic, however the service really let the place down. We felt like we were an inconvenience. As people who really love a fine dining experience, we were disappointed. Also, having the roof open at the beginning of autumn isn’t pleasant for the diner. We had leaves dropping into our table and all over the seating for the majority of our meal. That, and the indifferent attitude we received aren’t what we expect when we are paying that amount of money. The meal is as much about the way you are made to feel, as the food is.

Simply outstanding from start to finish, beautiful setting, the service was excellent, the dishes from the gourmet set menu were well thought out and paced perfectly. See you again soon.

We were placed in new extension right under partially open awning . It was nice at start but as wind got up it was cold and we had to ask for closure . I think they should have asked us whether we wanted to be in old or new seating as there were plwent of tables available all night in old area . The service and food was excellent

Absolutely excellent! Every course did not disappoint- incredible blend of flavors, all presented beautifully. We highly recommend.

No other better Indian in London, I’ve tried plenty and so far nothing beats it.

An overall terrible experience from start to finish- wait staff / floor staff never greeted us, gave us menus until I flagged someone down; had to flag someone down again to take our order (and remind them of my diet allergies and special occasion)- not knowledgeable about what their meals contain and what could be accommodated (until pressed). Very judgy. Suggest other higher end similar restaurants where we’ve had better experiences. Also, don’t bring children- not friendly to them unless of a certain age.
