Late lunch on the Terrace, ordered mainly from Vegetarian menu. Food was lovely, refreshing and light. Perfect!!!

We had a very poor experience here. An earlier review said it perfectly- we felt like dining there was an inconvenience to the staff. Nobody greeted us at the table and explained the menu, we were rushed to make decisions, and when asked if they could accommodate a food allergy it was as if we were insulting them! It wasn’t even the fact that they could not accommodate- it was their reaction to the question. I would normally not post a negative review but this was an incredibly expensive dinner. I’ve had better and more friendly service at Applebees.

The food was enjoyable, meeting our expectations with a pleasant mix of spices and an overall good taste. The temperature was just right — warm but not too hot. We ordered three different appetizers: Churi Chaat, Paneer Tikka, and Avocado Salad. While the Churi Chaat and Paneer Tikka were delicious, the Avocado Salad didn't complement the other dishes well. The dessert portion was small, which was a bit disappointing. The ambiance was ordinary and didn't quite meet our expectations. Additionally, the minimum spend of £55 per person, which wasn’t mentioned on menu available at website, came as a surprise. Later, it was found that it's mentioned at the bottom right corner while making the reservation, requiring one to expand the details to see it, otherwise one may miss it, like us. Overall good experience.

The Grills and starters are out of this world, absolutely fantastic. Been here 3 times this year already. However I think they need to revamp their curries and mains. The taste is just okay and nothing out of the ordinary.

We saw a mice running in the dinning area and stuff didn’t take any action about it.

It was wonderful spending my birthday at Tamarind! My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming here, and this is our favourite restaurant, so there was nowhere else I'd rather have gone to celebrate my birthday. The food as always was incredible, and the service was lovely and warm as well. We can't wait to go back
