    Experience was superb. The food was good. I expected more from the sea bass. The cauliflower was delicious. The food felt like it was trying a little too hard to be fancy rather than tasty. The base of the sea bass did not compliment the flavor of the fish. Although The fish was well cooked. The tiramisu was great!

    Nice place to enjoy lunch. Parking is not an issue and easy access.

    This place blew me away. I visited it yesterday during Restaurant Week and I'm heading back there next week with some friends because it was so unique. The food was savory, rich, and delicious. I feel that there was nothing on the menu that I wouldn't consider superb. Everyone there is super friendly including the cooks. I especially enjoyed the grilled seabass and the beet salad. But really everything was delicious. The owner is not only a talented chief but a talented artist which can be seen with her art hanging everywhere around the restaurant. I would give this place a 10 stars if I was able to.

    We ate here for restaurant week so could only order off that menu. But the food was very good. Wine seemed overly pricy (the cheapest glass is $17), but the beer was reasonable.

    We had the Restaurant week dinners. Started with. Amazing beetroot salad followed by carpaccio and cauliflower steak separately then we were full, but then came the entrées one of us had Seabass on round pastas, and the other was short rib on orzo. Dessert, amazing tiramisu deconstructed, and a lovely cheesecake. The service was impeccable that made you feel like you belonged to a club and would come back every day. I recommend it highly.

    Value: 5/5 Chicago Restaurant Week visit, $45 for 4 courses. I left very full. Food: 3.5/5 Might be what I ordered. Beets and cauliflower were overcooked, mushy lacked brightness from acid. Cheesecake wasn't anything special, but the spiced apple (?) reduction on the side was a nice sour compliment. Service: 3.5/5 Hit and miss. My server was very nice and kept my glass filled throughout the night, but got off to rocky start. The hostess and server thought I was a party of 2 when my reservation was for 1 person, asking if I was waiting for another guest and forgetting to remove the extra table setting. Midway through my main course, desert was brought out. My server promptly removed it since I clearly wasn't ready yet. Atmosphere: casual neighborhood gem. Guests can chat with chefs at the open kitchen bar top, music is upbeat but not overly loud.

    Loved this restaurant the first time we came but they really struggled with restaurant week. Timing was awful (we didn’t get the first course until 1.5 hours into our reservation) and the portions were tiny and over salted. We left hungry after a 4 hour dinner. I’d definitely reco coming outside of restaurant week.

    Excellent ! Hidden gem! Loved everything but 2 favorites were the mushrooms and carpaccio .
