We have been to Talus many times and have always had a wonderful meal. Last night it was different. We arrived for our reservation, which the hostess couldn’t find. Sje indicated that someone else had already checked in our party. They were able to still seat us quickly, however we we were surprised to see the majority of the tables empty. With the small crowd it was unclear why it took extra time to bring our drinks. When our drinks arrived the two smoked old fashioned were watered down with little flavor. When the main dishes arrived, the food quality was less than expected. The risotto was watery and the cod was extremely fishy. While the food quality was lacking, as was the timeliness of the food, the service from our waiter was terrific.

A wonderful night out with friends. Great atmosphere - drinks were amazing- food was outstanding and service was on top of everything. All this with the holiday season.

The food at Talus never disappoints. I tend to get the fish sandwich every time I go, because I have never had a better one. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their food. I would highly recommend Talus, but get a reservation for an evening dinner. It's THAT popular!

We had such a great experience! Our server, Angela, was just the right amount of attentive. The food was really, really delicious. I highly recommend the salmon with hazelnut pesto and the best beet risotto ever. My husband enjoyed the seafood risotto very much. The noise level was vibrant but not noisy. It was a great date night!!

Food was hit or miss as far as warm or cold. Drinks took longer than expected, as there was some mixup based off of how busy it was. It’s a noisy place, but still worth the time and effort. I’m sure we’ll be back as we have before. It was just an off night.

The food was excellent! We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and prompt with service. We got the Brussels Sprouts for the appetizer and they were delicious. Eve n if you don’t like Brussels Sprouts, you will most likely enjoy the way these are prepared LOVE THIS PLACE,

Talus continues to be one of most creative, consistent, and welcoming dining destination in the Sarpy burbs. Go early for Happy Hour or make a reservation, because diners start pouring in after 6 every day of the week. The bar features creative cocktails and regional craft brews. The menu is innovative and freshly prepared. Wait staff is superb. You always get the sense that the Talus management and staff are working hard to make your experience memorable and to make you a loyal patron. They've been successful.
