Lorsque vous traversez les seuils des portes vitrées du Tallula, une transformation instantanée s’opère en vous. Votre corps et votre esprit commencent à se détendre. Vos oreilles glanent des musiques de la liste éclectique diffusée. Vos yeux s’émerveillent en scrutant les murs décorés de tapis turcs, puis les plafonds qui distillent la chaleur et des éclairages uniformes ; ensuite les sols…, les plancher en bois sombre et finalement les sièges somptueux, dissimulés par des coussins et des oreillers drapés négligemment par des étoffes autour des cadres.

First time dining…met friends…parking is always a bit difficult on Franklin Street…plan on arriving earlier than reservation Staff was friendly accommodating (requested a quiet table hit one in the far corner) and sever efficient and patiently explained menu items (although it seemed short staff and it was a Saturday night everything arrived at the same time and waitress was sure to check on us) Food was delicious…and portions ample…definitely a place to go with friends or another couple…well worth a visit

Great food and service. Staff was attentive and conscientious. Our food was delicious, including the free bread and sauce.

Great flavors. Hard to decide between a bunch of small plates and the entrees. I sometimes get lost in the carpet patterns on the wall. Found rabbits in one.

Our second time here and just as memorable as the first. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Sunday and were greeted warmly. About 1/4 of the restaurant was occupied at that time but was filled shortly thereafter. Service was attentive and our waiter recommended a nice dry white wine to go with my special sea bass which was flavorful and cooked to perfection. My husband had the special lamb and it was a very nice presentation and tasted amazing and tender (ohh… those whipped potatoes!,). We thoroughly enjoy the ambience and loved the bread so much, we ordered a loaf to take home. I highly recommend this place for a delightful experience.

The food is very good but this was my second time where I felt rushed. They wanted to turn the tables over and didn’t give us time to go,thru the menu. It ruins the dining experience. I would like to go back and have a chance to look thru the menu The tables are very close so it does get a bit loud. But the dips and bread were excellent

They’re the nicest family owned business and they have consistent high quality food and service. We have been there over 20 times and introduced about a dozen people to this restaurant and everyone we’ve taken has enjoyed their experience.

The flavors were wonderful. Our service was great and the noise level was very good. I want to say we were in the very back of the restaurant in a booth with curtains. The restaurant wasn’t filled when we got there at 5:30 but filled up while we were there and turned over quite a few table by the time we left. I live that it is casual, neighborly and that the food is such good quality. We’ll be back!
