Yellow and black interior? The glass front door was filthy and it was hard to ignore with the bright light outside. The loudest restaurant I have visited in years. Food was very good as was service. Prices were reasonable. The noise and the interior were a big turn off. There are many better options for an overall pleasant dining experience.

To echo other reviews (pun intended) this place is loud. I like a good, energetic crowd but the acoustics are terrible so the noise was very grating for a dining experience. We sat upstairs which was much better - especially after two large parties left. Our server was very nice and welcoming but clearly new and not trained on bar ordering basics. It would’ve been nice to have printed beer and spirits lists. The rest of the service went smoothly and the food was very good! I suggest investing in sound dampeners and staff training.

This is our third and for a while at least final visit. They just can’t seem to get a handle on service here - we sat for 15 minutes or so and still had to ask a hostess to send someone over. Our food was basic and so was therefore fine, but other patrons by us were dissatisfied with their meals. I’m surprised this place hasn’t gotten it together yet and hope that they do - we need a place like this in town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Sarah took great care of us and provided some excellent reccomendations. The lamb lollipops and bacon wrapped shrimp are not to be missed. The Caesar salad was excellent as was the espresso filet and fish and chips. We enjoyed a nice bottle of zinfandel (although no decanter was available) and the house made doughnut dessert was very tasty. We will be returning soon!

Food and drinks were amazing. We dine out often when away and I can’t remember ever having food at a restaurant served that hot. It was like straight from the oven to the table. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Talbot Street Tavern is a welcomed addition to St. Michaels dining scene and menu repetoire. The interior is quitely dramatic, casual, and unified. It's a nice space--one of the nicer in town. The menu has something for all tastes, and I look forward to trying most all of them. My husband and I shared the lamb lollipops, and the unique sesame glaze was spot on as a compliment to the lamb. My husband had the mushroom/prosciutto/truffle (oil?) flat bread, which is crispy thin, savory, and plenty for one as an entree. I splurged and had the lobster mac, which our server described as, "quite the presentation". It was true to her words, and tasty as well. The chef may want to work on the cheese sauce, which is on the bland side and a bit thin. But, it is an inventive dish and worth getting right. No dessert, but we will be back.

I am sure they were slammed all day b/c of Mother’s Day but disappointed with overall experience. Not sure the crab dip had any actual crab in it, and it came with all of 4 small crackers. Other dishes were fine, flatbread was very garlicky and salmon was pretty bland.
