Every aspect of our dinner was great. The soft duck tacos, crispy tuna, and crab sushi rolls were standouts but the other supporting cast items were also very good. Taking account of the service (Amanda), food, and ambiance Takata is tough to beat.

The best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale we are actually going back again next Friday. My favorite place ever the food is absolutely delicious. The staff are wonderful. The ambience is excellent.

Great experience. Our server helped us select some popular Korean dishes which were wonderful. Highly recommended. The ambience is beautiful.

It was my first time and Incant wait to return. We sat at the bar for dinner. Our barkeeper, Peter, was a perfect host.

This is my second time dining here and it gets better every time! The baked scallops were delicious and the angry chicken is a must! We also ordered the wagyu gyoza which was great and the lobster roll that was amazing. To finish off a great meal we ordered the sushi ice cream and it was perfect! Drinks were great and staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!

I love Korean food, my friend loves Japanese. I ordered two things from the Korean menu , she ordered 2 from the Japanese. We shared all 4 and they were all delicious. We had Seaweed salad, duck bao buns, lobster eel roll, yellowtail roll and finished with sushi ice cream roll. Also the Lycee martini was superb! Our waiter Diego was exceptional. He would appear at our table as soon as we even thought we needed anything. He was amazing! Lively fun atmosphere with an ocean breeze…can’t beat it!

I’m from Doral and I always come up to Fort Lauderdale beach to enjoy TAKATO’s amazing food. The fried rice was spectacular: actually everything is. Lol.. the service however was a bit lacking luster this time. We had to flag down our server everytime even to pay for our check. Very nice kid but needs to be attentive when getting a $40 tip. I tipped that much because of my food experience and I had a great time with my friend. Nothing beats that patio next to the water. Will come back.
