At Taka Marylebone we like to keep things simple. We source the best produce we can find throughout the isles we call home. Then our chefs prepare them with love and care to enable the ingredients to speak for themselves. We are firm believers in the Japanese philosophy of shun.
Which means that food should only be eaten when it is at its best and at the height of its season. This would be impossible without the skills and knowledge of our farmers, foragers, anglers, hunters and herders. The menu has been created to be shared by the whole table, with wine, sake or beer!

Starting with a Miso Soup, to warm your appetite, Then diving straight into the collection of our, Nama Masai Salad with Salmon Tataki, Popcorn Shrimp Tempura, Unagi Rice, Sticky Tare Chicken, and two of our most popular rolls, Tuna Crunch and Crispy Cod. Not forgetting our infamous Wagyu Sando, you can add this to your Bento to have the full TAKA experience! Available on Friday and Saturday lunch times.

We sat in the first floor restaurant. The lack of any soft furnishings meant the noise levels were extremely high making it quite uncomfortable and difficult to have a conversation. The waiters did their best but clearly understaffed. The food was very good.

Excellent presentation of the food. The rice of the sushis however was not great. Some dishes were better than others. The lunch bento box was quite a good deal.

Not my first time there and as usual it was an absolute pleasure, the staff is amazing and the food even better!

Great omakase menu, wagyu bites a bit disappointing though and a mistake on the bill which was corrected without compensation.

Food and service was lovely but we made a mistake and thought the bento sharing menu was £90 for 2 and was £90 each!! This was way too expensive for the portion of food we received. Otherwise lovely food
