As always, our experience at Taikin was phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, the hostess - with the most beautiful green eyes - made sure we were taken care of. She gave us a table outside as requested by us because inside was way too loud for our liking. Maria was our server and together with Daniela and the other server assistant kept the drinks and food coming timely and kindly attentive to our requests of salt, extra plates, different sauces… everything! For drinks we had hot Sake, Sapporo Beers and Lychee Martinis, and for food we ordered our usual Truffled edamame, Nutrillermo roll, and Coconut soup (Yum!), together with the Brickell Roll and the Flame roll - wich btw was delicious… just the presentation itself was worth it! Our daughter had the fried rice with chicken and she loved it! In general we highly recommend this restaurant and will continue coming back as long as we’re in Miami.

Great Miami Spice Location, my only issue is the bathroom not being clean and the dj being really loud so at some point I felt like I was yelling to be heard by someone sitting next to me. We were a group of 4 and order almost everything off the Miami Spice Menu. I suggest eating the octopus chicharron and the Taikan Roll as appetizers. The Shrimo Ceviche is just 4 pieces of shrimp and in a big brown dump in a liquid; not worth it .

It was at Taikin that I began to love sushi. Never was into it. But the quality and diverse flavors have spurred a new appreciation for the taste. Now I eat sushi 1x/week. Love going to Taikin with friends to enjoy the food, atmosphere, drinks and music. Always have a great time. But do make a reservation if going on the weekends cause it gets packed.

This is a hidden gem in Doral, a must try that I highly recommend. Food was delicious and the DJ came at the perfect time.

My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed the Miami Spice menu. The food was tasty and our waitress was quite knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. Our cocktails were made with sake which was a first for me. They tasted good but you could tell it wasn't the normal liquor. I hope the restaurant works on getting liquor in there. Also, there wasn't any TV's, which I understand why, that restaurant is not a sports bar, but one or two, I think, should be ok. They had a live DJ who was spinning out some good 80's and 90's jams. Overall we had a good time.
