Tahk Omakase is located on Lincoln Street in the heart of beautiful downtown Steamboat Springs.
We offer the best sushi you will find in Steamboat and beyond. Open Tuesday-Saturday at 5pm.

Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome.
We offer regular tables, high-tops, sushi bar seats, and our community high-top bar.
Please visit tahksushi.com or OpenTable to book reservations and view our menus.
You will confirm with a secure credit card link.

We appreciate timely arrival for your reservation, we can only hold tables for 10 minutes.
We will do our best to accommodate your party but cannot guarantee a table.

We will not be answering the phone during our busy dinner service, we will likely check next business day, or we will check OpenTable DM. Take-out will be limited depending on the capacity of our restaurant.

In the case you don't cancel the reservation within 24 hours, your card will be charged $25pp.
If your party is 9 or more, please call to reserve.

Omakase Tasting is offered for a 5pm and 7:30 prompt seating times, Tuesdays-Saturdays. This is a true one-of-a-kind dining experience without booking a ticket to Japan, you'll be paired with a talented Sushi Chef at the Omakase Bar where you will be served each of the 12- chef's choice courses. During this 2-hour dinner you will learn about the intricacies of fresh fish and seafood from around the world. This is offered Tuesday-Saturdays only. The sushi bar is limited to 10 seats, and this is at the sushi bar. If your Omakase party is over 8 people, please call to reserve. To reserve go to "EXPERIENCE" in Open Table or reserve through the 5 pm or 7:30 timeslot and choose "OMAKASE 12-COURSE" or call 970-439-0444.

Nice variety & quality of fish, well prepared. Plus real wasabi as a bonus. Not to mention good cocktails & wine.

Sushi was pretty underwhelming and I was honestly left dissatisfied by the entire experience. I guess it’s the best sushi in steamboat but wasn’t that great.

Was told when we arrived that we had 90 minutes before they needed table back. Ordered everything immediately, took 70 minutes to receive food, didn’t have time to order more food so left hungry. The food we did receive was good. Especially for the location. One of the better spots we tried in Steamboat.

I have an allergy to spices and ask to have plain tuna put on a roll instead of spicy. At first they refused to do it,, but then offered it if I paid an additional $7. I feel restaurants should honor allergy issues. I've eaten sushi all over the US and in other countries. I've never had this issue before.

When the bill came, my first thought was…fair. Expensive but worth it. Chef explained each course and some history along the way. Please be on time, the dinner cannot start until everyone is seated. I can honestly say the sushi was some of the best I have ever eaten, every piece cut with perfection and carefully crafted into our dinner. So much fun to watch him work.

We had the best Christmas Eve dinner and our server Lia was amazing! Food was out of this world great! Fish was super fresh and the rolls were so delicious!

Nice staff, really average sushi and sashimi and way WAY over priced for what it is. Small servings and pretty average quality.

An amazing selection of fish many flown from Japan. Their appetizers are very good as is their hot food. But the sushi is truly a home run! The service was very attentive and even when some dishes were a little backed up Kathleen was constantly checking on us and informing us of the status of our food. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
