Service was slow. Waited way too long for food. Food also came out wrong. The food we had did taste good. But wouldn’t recommend for anyone on a schedule.

On a Saturday evening, we were the only people there at 6 pm, although the bar had some patrons. The salad was probably the best - ice cold, fresh greens, with an ample amount of bleu cheese dressing on the side (as ordered) which tasted home-made - it was delicious. We had the salmon entrée which included the vegetable of the day, etc. It came with a tomato jam glaze which didn't add much, and some shavings of maybe parmesan? Anyhow, my salmon smelled fishy, while my partner's was fine. A few asparagus limbs were tasty. And the dinner roll was warm. But the one side we both ordered was awful. It was supposed to be au gratin potatoes. But it turned out to be a muffin size glob of potatoes that had been frozen and slightly warmed, with some with goo folded in that did not resemble cheese. The top of the "thing" had been popped in an oven perhaps and was hard and crusty - not one bit edible - worst "au gratin" potato I've ever seen. The wine was good; our server was prompt. He asked how everything was (I lied about the salmon) we told him about the potatoes and it seemed like we frightened him and he didn't know what to do. Anyhow, it was just so-so; sitting by the window was nice - decent view of downtown. Oh well, you don't know until you try, but for $100+ it was more than underwhelming.

Excellent food and service. Anthony was great! The Taggert’s melt and grilled chicken sandwiches were bursting with flavor and the fries were delicious.
