The menu has a lot of variety, but our waiter was very helpful and attentive. We decided to split a Tavern Burger with onion rings and brussels sprouts with bacon. YUM! We both got the Prohibition cocktail, which is a delicious combination of an Old-Fashioned (my favorite), a Manhattan (her favorite) and a Sazerac (something new). After dinner, we decided to try the Taffer's Taster, which I highly recommend. It was a great introduction to the four cocktails and a fun way to end our dinner. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Service was excellent, all the food was hot and presented well. Drinks were especially fun from experience and taste perspectives. Will absolutely be back

This was our first time dining at Taffers. The staff was amazing and the food perfection. Service was great and it was perfect timing to catch our show! The place was packed ~ so definitely make a reservation!

The restaurant was busy and very loud. We both ordered burgers. Mine was overcooked and my husband’s came with the wrong type of cheese. I don’t know if they were short staffed but the manager was our waiter but unfortunately that was not his only task and so the service was not good. The staff was all friendly and the restaurant design was was nice but we will never go here again.

Loved Taffer's Tavern. Comforatable seating and atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. I would definitely go again when back in DC.

Excellent service! Great drinks—Strawberry Fields Forever Mule was delicious—as were our mules! Seemed a little pricey but eating in Washington DC for a concert so we planned on spending a little more than we normally would. Would definitely eat here again!

We went to watch some football and have cocktails. Our server was amazing, she recommended some great drinks and really paid great attention to us.

The food was phenomenal! The chef came out twice to check on us. Wait staff was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the short ribs, buffalo flatbread, and chicken and waffles.

We went before a concert. The food was delicious. Top picks are the Jalapeno poppers, Pork belly skewers, and the Truffle fries. The only downside was that the server we had did not seem interested in doing his job that day. Every request we had seemed to be above what he was willing to do. Mind you, we only asked for the table to be wiped off where he, himself made a mess with one of the drinks and for the empty glasses and plates to be removed from the table. The manager seemed to agree with us and offered to remove some of the charges, but when it was time to close the check, he was nowhere to be found. I would return for the food, but the service needs work.
