                                                                                I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the quality of the food, much better than I would expect from a golf course/club. We had the short rib, full rack and a pasta dish - all were delicious and generous but not overwhelming portions. The views are lovely, sadly obstructed by shades when the sun was setting. The only *minor* issue is that we felt a bit rushed as the server continually asked if I was done but I felt like my cutlery and body language showed that I was still eating and just taking a break. Overall, a very nice evening and we'll likely be back again. Thank you!

                                                                                Seated at a table covered in drink rings, food, and hair. Informed the waitress who replied “ok”. No apology. Spoke with the manager who added it was busy and kitchen was backed up. Rather flippant attitude by both. Promptly left and went to another busier restaurant in Langford. Ended up enjoying our night elsewhere despite a poor start here. Mentioned our experience to friends and will not return.

                                                                                We arrived early for our reservation. The restaurant wasn't busy so the server never asked for our name. I mentioned that we had a reservation. The server hadn't read our special event or our table request. We did have to ask for the table we wanted. Service was very slow. We waited a long time before we flagged down a server to get the wifi password and to say we would Iike to order now. It was about 30 minutes. The appetizer came quickly as did our bottle of wine. Then another long wait for our food. The food was good and the server was friendly. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed,I'm not sure but the waiting was too long. I ordered a steak medium rare, it was medium+. But it was well seasoned. Th creme brulee was very good.
