Built in 1837 and beautifully restored, Table 1837 features dining areas adorned by linen draped tables, rough hewn beams, original stone and brick work, a spring-fed fountain, wine cellar dining, outdoor patio, a bar and lounge areas.
A scenic drive, 15 minutes from York-PA, 40 minutes from Baltimore-MD or Harrisburg-PA, 50 min from Gettysburg-PA or Lancaster-PA.

The food was very good. The complimentary drink was a nice touch. The only negative was over hearing the personal conversations of the female staff behind the bar counter. Their personal opinions and life stories were not necessary. Maybe keeping their voice level below the music/crowd level is suggested. 😉👍

Avanna was our server. She was personable and attentive. Food was excellent. We live 20 minutes away and will definitely return and bring our friends.

We had a phenomenal meal. The presentation was outstanding and the food was absolutley delicious. Everything about the experience was memorable. We would recommend this restaurant for a date night, catching up with friends and all special occasions. What a hidden gem in York County.

Wonderful atmosphere, very elegant. Great service and delicious entrees. Only disappointed in dessert. Ordered crepes suzette but server was unable to flame the dessert and kept adding more cognac so was soggy and tasted very liquory

From the time we walked in the door we were greeted with kindness. Celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday. They helped make the celebration special. The service was the best. The food delicious and hot! Will definitely come back and recommend. Thanks for everyone who took care of us.
