Built in 1837 and beautifully restored, Table 1837 features dining areas adorned by linen draped tables, rough hewn beams, original stone and brick work, a spring-fed fountain, wine cellar dining, outdoor patio, a bar and lounge areas.
A scenic drive, 15 minutes from York-PA, 40 minutes from Baltimore-MD or Harrisburg-PA, 50 min from Gettysburg-PA or Lancaster-PA.

Lunch was fabulous! Burger was delicious and loved the Lobster/crab bisque. Delicious! Server was outstanding. We'll be back!

An excellent option in York County. Service was exceptional, interesting and exciting menu options. Great wine list and cocktails.

We dined at 1:30 on a Sunday. It was not busy. It was a very nice dining experience. We loved the ambiance and quietness. The food was very good too as was our waitress. We will return.

First time for lunch and it was fabulous. Impeccable service. Lobster bisque best I’ve ever had. And the salad was both fresh and refreshing on a very hot day. Will definitely return.

I felt like for the price it was nothing I could not recreate at home. nothing wrong with the braised short rib but again, I know I can make that dish. 16 dollars for lemonade with Gin, although good gin, was still not 16 dollars for maybe 1/4 of a cup. Service was good but not stellar. Sitting in a basement next the train tracks to pay 180 bucks for two people including tip seems on the high side given the options in the area. Might be back but……maybe not. Also the piano was super loud, nature of the space and the instrument but still a little much.

We attended a special event — the High Tea Luncheon. It was a lot of fun and the value of the event was worth it! My daughter and I enjoyed the setting. The tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd, fruit salad were all delicious. We also enjoyed the communal seating and met some lovely ladies. Worth the price of admission and would recommend it!

Wonderful dining experience! We visited for our anniversary as we wanted a special meal and a different experience. Table 1837 at Glen Rock Mill Inn knocked it out of the park! We did the prix fixe tasting menu and it was fantastic! The ambiance was lovely, historic, quiet, and romantic. The staff had an anniversary card on the table and our server brought us each a glass of champagne compliments of the restaurant to toast. The short rib was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the filet mignon, and was very impressed. Dessert was amazing, but we were so full by the end we decided to take one home and split one at the restaurant, just so we each got a little sweet but didn’t completely overstuff ourselves. What a spectacular dinner, we’ll definitely be back!
