T54 Restaurant & Bar offers modern, Italian cuisine in a welcoming and intimate atmosphere.
Husband and wife owners, Massimo Schiavon & Antoinette Borromeo, provide an extension of their home to guests. A few of their signature dishes are Trofie Pesto Genovese, Rigatoni Bolognese and a Pasta on the Wheel. Other delights include a Tuscan Roasted Half Chicken, Grilled Whole Branzino, and a beautifully presented Pot of Mussels.
Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu.
The 30 foot bar that can accommodate up to 14 people for cocktails or dinner, as well as an authentic Italian happy hour - Appertivi from Tuesday - Thursday.
The inviting patio provides outdoor dining on weather permitting evenings.
Massimo's 30 years of Food & Beverage experience in Italy and New York City shows in his hand selected wine list and speciality cocktails.

Food was great and especially the service. The staff welcomed us with open arms and really made sure they accommodated our confortabiity. All their food is made and prepared in house and cooked to satisfaction. We’ll definitely be dining there again soon!

This was my second time back to this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the pasta wheel and it was delicious! Be prepared to pay what it’s worth.

Specials were very good. Service terrific. A real neighborhood gem. Off the beaten path in Lambertville so you have to hear about it. Would definitely go back. Very crowded for a Tuesday evening…we could see why!

We had dinner for the first time last night at Restaurant T54 in Lambertville, NJ. The previous restaurant in this space was more of a casual neighborhood place, and the renovation by the new owners is wonderful. The core of the menu is still Italian, but the ambience, decor, and menu have been upscaled. Three of us shared a sauteed baby artichoke appetizer--delicious. Two of us ordered the veal lasagna, (single portions were almost enough for two). It came in its own crock. One of us ordered the eggplant parmesan appetizer as an entree. Everything was beautifully prepared. Desserts were also wonderful. The small dining room was about 3/4 full when we arrived and the sound level (with quiet jazz in the background) was low enough that we could have conversation without shouting (this is hard to find in most restaurants now). Our server was attentive and friendly. Massimo, the owner, came out at the end of the meal to greet customers. By the way, his homemade Limoncello is to die for (and strong). My only quibble was that the dining room seemed to be understaffed that night, so things moved a bit slow, but drinks were cold, food was hot and delicious, so we will definitely go back.

Excellent Northern Italian fare with many other choices. Fine wines, cocktails and desserts add to a beautiful dining experience!

Grilled whole Branzino was delicious but the skin had some scales not removed. The Italian oil cake desert must be tried!

After reading great reviews, I went to T 54 for a birthday celebration. We started with calamari. The coating was tasteless and soggy. The sauce that accompanied the calamari was also bland and had no flavor. My meal was penne pomodoro. While the sauce was good, the pasta was very overcooked. My guest had cacio de Pepe. The sauce had an odd, sour taste, like sour milk. Our dessert was tiramisu. It wasn’t homemade. It was a dessert from a food distribution company and tasted like it was. Overall, a bad meal.

Hello Annie This is Massimo the owner of T54. I’m really sorry and shock to hear about your experience @T54. I just want to make few clarification about the sour tasting on my Pasta in the wheel, the sour that you tasting is not milk but the Brandy that I use to flambé the cheese, if you come again please do not order pasta on the Wheel, maybe you can order my Trofie al Pesto Genovese or Rigatoni Bolognese (ricetta della Nonna). About my Tiramisu I really don’t know which Tiramisu you usually eating but I understand that you never have Original Tiramisu homemade, say that I respect your taste. Hope I will have another opportunity to serve you again.
