    We went on Valentine’s Day. I had not been to a Symposium location in many years so we decided to give it a try. They had a nice set menu which on paper was a good value. The challenge was that service was extremely slow, and food quality was not at a level we expect. I think this was likely the result of the restaurant not being prepared for the number of patrons they had. The server we had did her best, and the manager made an adjustment to our bill, which I feel was warranted, all things considered. I’d like to give Symposium another chance but with so many other options, it’s likely that we won’t return.

    The restaurant needs a renovation badly, kitchen was very slow, and food was not good at all, washroom floor has lots of ants and looks dirty. Our waitress was very friendly and apologetic for the kitchen’s speed, which was not her fault of course. We all agreed that we would never go back again.

    It is located on Yonge Street, and parking is convenient. Above all, the staff is very friendly. When I asked a question, a manager-like person came and explained it to me very kindly. My wife and I plan to visit often with our children. Of course, the food was also great. Highly recommended.
