   Thanksgiving brunch was excellent! Full breakfast spread along with a full Thanksgiving spread including desserts. It was so good! Drink refills and table clearing was a little slow but they were wuite busy. Will definitely return!

   All I can say is Wow were we pleasantly surprised. Every thing was spot on perfect. Great Service, Food, and Value. One of the best dining experiences I have had in awhile. We will definitely be returning soon.

   We enjoyed our experience at Symposia. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our server was personable, knowledgeable, and professional. She provided recommendations and insights about some popular dishes. We had the cured olives and feta starter. The feta was creamy and the olives were savory. The house bread was served with salted butter and a kalamata olive tapenad. We ordered a Caesar salad to share. The dressing was good and the baked bread croutons were a delicious addition. My partner ordered the Amish half bird. We were thoroughly informed about the significant spiciness of the chicken - which my partner confirmed and enjoyed. I had the prime filet which was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The asparagus that accompanied the filet was spiced particularly well too. The decor and ambiance of Symposia was beautiful and comfortable. We would return to Symposia for future dining.

   I did a doggy bag and had my food box for me. However when I got home it was not my food not sure what happen all there was, was a chunk of meat which I was not what I was eating a total different meat. My mashed potatoes gravy and asparagus was missing.

   The staff from the manager Reza to our server Amanda bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. Our recent visit was only our second time, and Amanda remembered us, even remembering what table we had had. Everyone in our group liked their food, without exception. Our friends on this are restaurant mavens, and they are ready to make it a regular stop. The drinks are generous, and the room is attractive. It is also a very attractive and comfortable room. And the big surprise .... We live in the New Center area and took the Q-Line for our first visit to Symposia. At our table we were talking about the best way to walk back to Woodward, and Amanda told us their shuttle could take us home. We had a comfortable ride with a charming driver, Captain Thoney, and he dropped us at our door. He also told us that he would also be glad to pick us up for our next visit. So for our second time, we rode in style both ways. It probably wouldn't work if you live in West Bloomfield, but it was great for us. Symposia is going to become one of our regular stops.

   We were very excited to come here because of the good reviews but our experience was just ok. The food was good, not great and over priced for what you get. I would say the atmosphere could use a lot of improvement. The restaurant is very small, they played what sounded like elevator music the entire time and for the price of our dinner, I believe there are way better options in Detroit as far as food, liveliness and atmosphere.

    Symposia is a wonderful place to go for dinner, especially to celebrate a special occasion. The food is outstanding, and the service is perfect. Our server, Amanda, was exceedingly attentive, without being intrusive. She enhanced our celebration. The decor in this restaurant is beautiful and unique. It is comfortable, and there is something interesting to see in every direction. The salads were unusual and delicious. The portions were substantial, but we did not feel as if we were overeating. Our experience was so enjoyable that we are seeking another special occasion to justify dining at Symposia again soon.
