Nestled in the heart of Columbus’ historic German Village, 262 East Sycamore Street has been a gathering place for family and friends for more than a century.

Drawing inspiration from the casual, laid-back elegance of Europe’s all-day cafés, Sycamore is based on our love of neighborhood restaurants that weave themselves into the rhythms of our day to day lives.

Stop by in the morning for expertly crafted espresso, freshly baked pastry, or a light breakfast. Take a mid-day break for a salad, sandwich, or small plate. Join us for dinner and enjoy our menu influenced by the changing of the seasons, featuring local and sustainably sourced ingredients prepared simply and elegantly.

And our bar’s always open—with its thoughtfully selected list of cocktails, wines, beer and spirits—for a late morning pick-me-up or afternoon aperitivo, to an evening celebration.

My friend and I enjoy Sycamore each time we visit. The only downside is finding parking but it’s not a deal breaker! The food is consistently delicious, the service is great and the overall feel of the restaurant is always enjoyable. Great job, Sycamore!

Amazing food and service. Isabella was great and made sure we always had what we wanted and was knowledgeable of the menu to make great reccomendations! Highly reccomend the short rib ragu and the picnic eggs!

Cute restaurant in the heart of German Village. I thought the food was good, but a little pricey. Seemed like a quaint place for a special occasion if you were seated in one of the booths. My friend and I were seated further back towards the kitchen and there were too many people walking back and forth in a tight area for my liking. Also noisy if those people were talking to one another.

Great experience. We were high maintenance with our needs as a party that evening. It was a business supper, and we needed a great deal of privacy and time to discuss items; especially when we stayed late with our meeting. The server was professional, accommodating, patient, and kind. We felt very tended to, taken care of, yet left to discuss without interruption; a perfect evening and business meeting venue. Thanks!!

It's been a while since I visited the restaurant and while our server and the ambiance were excellent, the food was SO POORLY cooked it wasn't worth it. It's too bad because it used to be a destination place for me to bring my out-of-town guests.

Always have a great time here. The service is always top-notch and friendly. Eclectic food & drink menu is a real treat, and the flavors are not the usual run of the mill. Really good!

Every part of the meal was delicious. I'm also not much of an alcohol person but the cocktails here are phenomenal (if a bit pricey). I had the Abbey Lane cocktail and it was perfect. For the appetizer, we had Picnic Eggs (which weren't overly mayo-filled). For the main meal, we had the Short Rib Ragu and the Black Bass. Both were wonderful - a great portion size and quality ingredients. Taylor was an amazing server who helped with my menu questions and helped make this anniversary dinner excellent.

My friend and I shared several small plates and the clam chowder which was phenomenal. Loved the sticky carrots and the curry muscles. Our server Kristen was great. She realized I had left my credit card and reached out to make sure I got it because we aren't from Columbus and we're leaving the next day so she wanted to make sure I had it for when we traveled back home. Couldn't ask for better service. From the bartender to the greeter everything was great.
