Offering sweeping views of the river and downtown Louisville paired with a supper club-style menu, Swizzle, a new restaurant by the Al J. Schneider Company and The Galt House Hotel, will welcome diners next spring. Perched 25 stories above River Road, the space has long been a destination for Louisville residents’ most special moments. That legacy will continue with Swizzle, which will also offer happy hour specials and bar bites, encouraging diners to drop by for a quick drink, or linger for the evening. The new restaurant concept replaces RIVUE, which closed earlier this month, and will be open for dinner and drinks nightly.

We were there for an anniversary dinner and everything was excellent from start to finish. My strip steak was cooked perfectly and the mushroom side was outstanding. My wife got the Seabass and she was enthusiastic about it as well! We will definitely be going back.

Dinner at Swizzle was excellent. The food was wonderful and David is one of the best waiters around.

Food was good, service also impeccable! Ambiance was stellar for Kentucky, but would have been better if not for trove of dead bugs and hungry spiders all over the windows. DEFINITELY a place I'd come back in Louisville!

Great views, great food, but our server tonight was absent on the job. We waited more the fifteen min. Before a drink order was taken as well as in between courses. We even had to go find someone to look for our server so we could pay. Some in the party wanted desert but we ran out put of patience. I will say the food was very good!

I hadn’t been there in several years. I miss that the restaurant no longer revolves. I feel that and the view made the restaurant. The salmon was fresh and well seasoned. The appearance on the plate made it even more appealing. I also miss the classy feeling and ambiance. It’s more of a family feeling now and I was there on a Saturday night. Not that that is a bad thing. Kudos to the waiter and hostess, both were amazing and attentive.

Swizzle is a great place to eat. The food was amazing. This is our third trip to this restaurant. And as much praise as I want to give this food the service this time significantly took away from the experience. Our server Daniel was not attentive to the needs of his guest. Thankfully Shanu was at our every beck and call to make this experience worth the price and the trip!! My only concern is the management and how they dismissed Shanu as a short term serve with a limited green card and they would have a talk with our out of character server , the bald white man, Daniel. My husband and I spent over $100 per person and love the southern hospitality of Kentucky. EVEN THO THE WHITE MAN DID NOT PROVIDE THAT AND HIS MANGER DISMISSED HIS ATTITUDE AND ALSO DISMISSED THE BEST SERVER AS ONLY A TEMPORARY WITH A GREEN CARD!!! You need to have these temporary green cards teach your AMERICAN SERVER SOME MANNERS. I HAVE BEEN TO THIS RESTAURANT MANY TIMES AND NEVER SEEN SUCH AN ATMOSPHERE WITH SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDES. Something things about your employees needs to be left alone. AND I DONT NEED TO KNOW HIS GREEN CARD STATUS. Shanu was the standard for The Swizzle and he made our visit very enjoyable.

A good experience. Great views, good service - arrentive - but the bar was backed up. Calamari is just ok. Steaks we ordered medium rare and they were more medium. But overall a good dinner.

We specifically chose this restaurant for the views, and we’re placed on one of their rotating sections, however, the rotation was not working this evening. We pointed it out to the server, and to a manager, and nothing came of it. Disappointing lack of communication. In addition, I had noted in my reservation that this was for a birthday, and no effort was made to acknowledge the birthday. Our salad, steak and vegetables were perfectly prepared and delicious.
