Romantique

Offering sweeping views of the river and downtown Louisville paired with a supper club-style menu, Swizzle, a new restaurant by the Al J. Schneider Company and The Galt House Hotel, will welcome diners next spring. Perched 25 stories above River Road, the space has long been a destination for Louisville residents’ most special moments. That legacy will continue with Swizzle, which will also offer happy hour specials and bar bites, encouraging diners to drop by for a quick drink, or linger for the evening. The new restaurant concept replaces RIVUE, which closed earlier this month, and will be open for dinner and drinks nightly.

Wasn’t a fan of the sitting area no mock tails to choose from which is a let down . The Mac and cheese tasted undercooked. The meat balls were burnt and dried out wasn’t a fan. The baked potato I’ve had better at roadhouse the only thing I enjoyed was the 22oz steak,We usually dine at Jeff ruby's when staying at the Galt house we will be returning back there. The waiter needs more training nothing was impressive about swizzle wouldn’t recommend this restaurant… the decor seemed a bit outdated

My wife ordered the grilled chicken breast, and I've never been in a restaurant where grilled chicken breast has the bone in it. And the fat potatoes was the most disgusting potatoes I've ever had in my life I'm sorry we both hated them. The bread was better than her dinner. The burger was delicious but my bacon was just fat. The fries with the burger were outstanding, but unfortunately nothing else was except for the basket of rolls.

Brittany was amazing she was constantly checking on us and made sure our experience was great. She absolutely showed us love and I'm very grateful for that. Our food was the bomb our steaks were how we asked them to be also our sides and appetizer were sooo good. We ended up stopping by the bar after our dinner and cash and I believe Russell is his name we're amazing our drinks were so good I wanted to have more but we had to go sadly. Definitely would recommend Brittany as a server though, the experience it's self is to die for I loved it!!!

First time trying out Swizzle and we were very happy. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food. My husband and I got the carnivore plate which includes a ribeye, filet, and strip. Best steak we've had in a long time. We got one side to share, the Mac and cheese. This was also good. You do get complementary bread which is different and delicious. A bit pricey, over $200. We both got water, but worth it for a special occasion or experience. It was cool to be able to get a panoramic view of the city. Service was also excellent. We'll definitely be back here our next round in Louisville.

Food and drinks were good. Large varied menu and lots of great options. Came with a party of 6 but the rotating dining room doesn’t have comfortable seating for more than 4 at a table. They put us at a table that really only comfortably sat 4-5 and the cramped seating did take away from the experience.

The waiter was experienced, but seemed a little annoyed with a few questions, and almost pushy with a few menu items. Overall, he was very good. The starting bread and cocktails were very nice. The area of dinning where we were sitting almost had a bathroom smell, could’ve just been this one time, not sure. The lobster bisque was just ok, menu said lumps of lobster, not lumps, just plain. Flavor was decent. Main course, fantastic. Sea bass and sides fantastic. Steaks and sides, perfectly cooked and fantastic. The app was fantastic. Overall we’ll come back, but for the cost, there are better places in Louisville, but the view, nearly impossible to replicate! Cheers 🍻

Expected a different experience. Came for a business dinner and made a reservation over a week ago. Would not return. Sure the dining room rotated and that's great. The server said there were mocktails but when we asked, it was basically several different flavors of sodas available. We ordered a bottle of rose and it was cold, but not very. She announced tice that she would bring us a wine chiller as if it was extra special service. The menu looked good.....but ,,,,,,the shrimp cocktail ($20) arrived and they were dried out (no one noticed when they were plated?) and leathery and therefore we did not finish,. The crab cakes (24$) were absolutely overcooked. The lobster bisque was not even warm and therefore, we didn't finish. The two salads ($17) we ordered were the same and it looked like they were made together as one and then split, as they were quite small. I was told by my colleague that the watermelon salad was delicious so that's good. It was a Monday, but we expected a restaurant rated this high to provide a better experience than we had.

Staff is exceptional! They looked after my husbands special dietary needs without a problem. Our meal was fabulous. Will definitely go there again
