Offering sweeping views of the river and downtown Louisville paired with a supper club-style menu, Swizzle, a new restaurant by the Al J. Schneider Company and The Galt House Hotel, will welcome diners next spring. Perched 25 stories above River Road, the space has long been a destination for Louisville residents’ most special moments. That legacy will continue with Swizzle, which will also offer happy hour specials and bar bites, encouraging diners to drop by for a quick drink, or linger for the evening. The new restaurant concept replaces RIVUE, which closed earlier this month, and will be open for dinner and drinks nightly.

The atmosphere was pleasant, but the service left much to be desired. I asked the waiter for a wine recommendation, and unfortunately, he couldn’t provide one. When you're paying premium prices, that level of knowledge should be expected. The food was mediocre, and to top it off, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. Overall, I was quite disappointed, especially considering the high price—my expectations were far from met.

Swizzle was a great experience!! They accommodated changing my reservation twice. The food was excellent and the bartender made a custom herbal drink for me. Don’t miss the bananas Foster cheesecake!

First impression was great. 3 people were sharing the carnivore platter. It came out very well done. Manager had a new platter made for medium. By then the sides were cold. They replaced those two. Comped a round of drinks and our app. I think they handled it as well as they could but it was a disappointing birthday dinner.

My husband and I went here for dinner and it was absolutely the best choice. Our waitress was amazing and the food was delicious

Swizzle is my favorite restaurant around. The Bar happy hour is awesome. Cash is the best. He makes the best Titos dirty martini around!!!! The table service is spot on and I don't have the words on how amazing the food is. It's great for a special occasion and the Happy Hour is perfect for some good appetizers and a few cocktails on date night.

It was rather loud in the restaurant for the time that we went just because there was a lot of people there however it is an excellent restaurant I highly recommend it and will do it again we went for my girlfriend's birthday and it was definitely the unwind we needed after kayaking however I do recommend not going if you were on a budget LOL cuz we definitely blew ours but it was a great time and we have no regrets.

The atmosphere and ambience was outstanding. The gentleman who seated us was a little rude. We asked for a table at the window and we even waited a little bit for the table, however, when we were seated, we ended up with a booth. When we inquired to him about the table by the window, he said the booth still has a view. The food was just ok. Our waitress was Brittany and she was also a little rude. I’ve seen several positive reviews for Brittany for this restaurant, however, we did not have that experience with her.
