                                                                                              Dining room for 2. Had the Caesar and garden salads, the Wiener schnitzel and beef stir fry. The portions are very generous. We drove the 45 minutes mostly for the schnitzel and we were not disappointed. Our total time was about 90 minutes so not much of a delay. The team works very well in backing each other up to ensure there is nothing else required and the food was delivered when hot. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. I can imaging managing a restaurant in an area that is seasonal as well as fluctuates with the week or weekend day is challenging to staff. It was worth the drive for sure.

                                                                                              Beware. Three of us dined there and all three got ill within hours. Service is terrible, slow and inconsistent. Not a god dining experience. Will not be back there again. Unfortunate as the restaurant had a very good reputation until new ownership took over a cople of years ago. Some traditions do disappear!!

                                                                                              Reservation for 4 persons at 615 , we showed up early 545. We thought we would enjoy live entertainment while waiting for our dinner. The entertainment was great. Having placed our order around 610 we waited listening to the band play having a few social drinks. Approximately 7 my spouse received a soup , so naturally we figured our main course would be along soon. After waiting an additional 25 minutes I ask the waiter when our dinner would arrive. He stated he would check and let us know ,after explaining that staff was short and a chef failed to show up... we waited patiently for another half hour till 745 before deciding that we would be better eating elsewhere since Approximately 2 hours from our arrival had passed. We politely paid our bill and we won't be returning anytime soon.
