Le Swift & Sons est un steakhouse américain appartenant au Boka Restaurant Group. Ce superbe espace multi-pièces a été conçu par la firme de design de renommée mondiale AvroKO et est situé au cœur du quartier du Fulton Market - la ville natale du Chicago Meatpacking. We chose swift and sons for our Christmas Dinner this year over many other steakhouses because of the availability of a Wagyu Tomahawk steak. My wife and I were extremely disappointed at the quality of this steak. It was fairly tough and did not have any marbling resembling wagyu. We spent a lot of money on this dinner, and it was very unfortunate that the steak priced the way it was didn’t come close to meeting expectations.

0 for 2. For the second time I’ve dined at Swift and Sons my steak has been grossly undercooked. Ordered Medium both times, they served it to me nearly raw two months ago on my first visit, and it still came back cooked only to Rare after I sent it back the first time. They were correctly apologetic at the time for what was probably the worst cooking of a steak I’d experienced in 35 years. Last night, my Medium steak came back Rare, not even Med-Rare. It only took them one trip back to the kitchen to get it to Medium this time, but the damage was done. Their rich ambiance, service and extraordinary French Onion soup can’t make up for a diminished $88 steak experience. They stress their ‘resting’ of the steaks once cooked. Fine, but the temperature quality control of the otherwise quality cuts was sorely lacking on my visits. There are far too many high-end steak options in the city to risk a third disappointing visit to S&S. Certainly not when a Ribeye is priced at $88 & $98.

Everything was amazing at Swift & Sons! The service was absolutely great! Our server was very attentive and provided great recommendations! The food was exquisitely delicious! I absolutely recommend visiting this restaurant next time you’re in the area!

The service here is 10/10. Everyone was kind, accommodating and everyone wished me a happy birthday that stopped by our table. Our drinks were consistently refilled. Never went below half a glass. Beautiful ambiance. Very upscale and comfortable private seating. The food was good but in our opinion, not worth $300. Wagyu Steak was a good cut of meat just not much flavor. The green beans were very odd to us. The cilantro paste with nuts just wasn’t for our palette. Mashed potatoes had great flavor but not the best creamed potatoes we’ve had however we still enjoyed them. The the filet topped with crab meat was realllly good. Tons of flavor!!!!

This place is a find. Pricey, but suitable for a special occasion. In this case, my partner and I were celebrating our anniversary--not that we mentioned it to anyone--but we were treated beautifully anyway by the excellent, courteous, and alert staff. The food was just superb--try the Steak and Ale Pie and the Short Ribs Bourguignon!--and the homemade ice creams for dessert were out of this world. We also appreciated the fact that this restaurant, though large, is quiet enough that we could converse without raising our voices of straining to hear. We've been raving about the experience since our dinner there 48 hours ago.

Great service, drinks, and food! Took my guest here for a birthday dinner. We loved the custom “happy birthday” touches on their menu and card upon arrival. Will definitely be coming back!
