                  We typically enjoy the Sweetwater restaurant, the ambiance and the service. However on this occasion, the main course was served with leafy greens and vegetables that were soggy and dripping with oil. This was the same with both the salmon and the sea bass dishes. One would expect that the vegetables would be lightly sauteed, with no oil residue with the dish. Even though we enjoyed the soup and dessert, this meal could best rated as a C- for the cost.

                  This is our date night go to spot! Location, location, location, and the food and service quality are equally excellent! Be advised there are multiple menus you can order from, if you want something more simple try the apres golf menu!

                  The complimentary bread was really fabulous. We both enjoyed the eggplant mushroom entree very much. Ambience was lovely. Our server really enhanced the experience.

                  My husband and I came for our anniversary. The ambiance is lovely. The view spectacular. The food was quite expensive so we were hoping for something amazing. We can’t say we were disappointed because the food was good…just not great. The calamari was a little over (not enough to send back-just noticeable.) The arancini was under seasoned. My short rib entree was good, but again, the pasta was under seasoned. My husband enjoyed the special (pork schnitzel with gnocchi) but the green beans were barely cooked. Again, the issues were not enough to voice our concerns, but for a $200+ fine-dining meal, we had higher expectations. Finally, we ordered an apple tart to share, which the restaurant offered complimentary. This was a lovely gesture which we appreciated, however while the filling was delicious, the pastry was extremely salty. It was a surprise to the palette, not disgusting but also not enjoyable. But it was free and a kind thing for them to do. My husbands coffee came luke-warm but was quickly replaced. At the end of the day, a little more attention to detail and the restaurant would be amazing and earn that last star. Cheers!

                  We tend not to come too often. Each time we hope the food will live up to it's hype. The shared plate was tasty. The butter with the warm bread, was swimming in some brown stuff and way too salty. The lamb needed a sauce or jus. The chicken dish was tasty but very over priced and the skin was not crispy so soggy and not good to eat. Risotto was pleasant but needed more seasoning (ok though as there had been so much salt on butter and dessert). A lot of the dishes are not made on site which is obvious to see. The chocolate dessert was particularly disappointing, was sold to us well by the waitress though (great sales). The caramel was way too salty and the chocolate bomb tasteless - it could have been made better on site rather than bought in. All in all the usual standard we get each visit. If the chef's cooked from scratch and upped their game the restaurant would be much busier. We would probably visit once a week and would gladly pay top dollar. They would also get a lot of clientele from the area. Everyone we speak to locally say they are always disappointed with the standard of food for the price. Up the game, have the chef's prepare food from scratch and live up to the marketing and you will find the restaurant busier. Also a few green palms around the restaurant would make it more cozy. We ate here last night because it was convenient but driving just 20 minutes and we would get much better food cooked from scratch. I am more than happy to come and meet with the manager and even the chef and discuss this. Regards Carron Standoloft

                  The major problem was it was too darned cold to be eating outside on the patio. The meal was late being served and despite wearing two sweaters, a jacket, given a blanket and a heater with the wind off the lake, we nearly froze to death (my mom is 82 years old). (One family with children were allowed to eat inside. As for the food - it was the BEST meal we have ever eaten at Sweetwater and worth the money. It was fabulous and excellent selection of choices! Kudos to the chef and his team.
