British owned and operated, our cozy warm dining room welcomes you along with our friendly staff. Our Traditional British Afternoon Tea experience offers a variety of fresh and delicious homemade items to include soup of the day, finger sandwiches, savory bites, decadent desserts and our very Famous and loved traditional English scones and clotted cream. With over forty teas to choose, from around the world you are sure to find the perfect one to enhance your tea experience. We also have these for sale in our gift area. This quaint English tea house is an absolute delight- from the homemade pastries, scones and desserts to the china used to sip tea and eat off of. The service is fun and cheeky- we always have a good laugh when there. They also do a nice job of keeping this treat affordable.

My husband loves Afternoon tea so we celebrated his 55th birthday at Sweet Peas this past week. We had a wonderful time and the tea and room was a celebration of the holiday season. The lovely ladies who run this tea room do such a great job. The sandwiches were full of flavor, the sweets were delicious and the scones nice and crumbly (as they should be) I would say my only disappointment would be that the cream for the scones is just whipped cream and not clotted cream as is tradition. But I know that it’s hard to make traditional clotted cream with our rules against unpasteurized dairy. They serve one type of tea as per the season, and at first I was disappointed as we like to choose our own separate teas. But the seasonal tea (Clementine Clove) was delicious. When we were asking about 2 of the for purchase teas on display, they asked if we would like sample a small pot of them. This was excellent service as we didn’t like them at all. But we really enjoyed the Clove tea and ended up purchasing a bag of it. We will definitely come back again in summer to experience their summer menus. Also, as far as Afternoon tea, the cost per person is VERY reasonable.

The service was great and the food tasted amazing. The pumpkin treats and tea sandwiches were amazing. I also always love the tomato soup!!!

Absolutely outstanding. The service was impeccable, and the food was excellent. Lovely decor and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The tea tray of the selected sandwiches, scones and pastries was beautiful and everything was delicious. Just the right amount and sizes and the clotted cream was so good. Owner was friendly and helpful but gave us our privacy to relax and enjoy the afternoon tea experience. We will be back!

Lovely authentic English tea experience. Owner is an English lady and she runs it with her daughter, who makes most of delicious food.

Always a wonderful time. The service and the food is great. A little piece of England in Battle Ground.

Lower cost than other tea rooms until you add the soup for an upcharge. The savories were all very good, it would be nice if there were more of them. The desserts were ok. They are very generous with their devonshire cream. The staff was very nice. The venue was attractive and it makes a nice place to visit with a friend. We were both hungry afterwards, so don't plan on it being a meal.
